Most interesting tour with excellent guide and driver - Liuji organised for a colleague, Silvia and a driver to take us on this tour which was extended to include a visit to the Irrigation scheme.
Silvia is an outstanding guide who is very knowledgeable and extremely friendly.
We had a most relaxed, enjoyable day including an excellent lunch in a local restaurant.
Both places are very well worth a visit. The Panda base is fun and the Irrigation scheme most interesting. The walk through the Bonzi garden should not be missed.
I would highly recommend Silvia and the tour.

Amazing day - Liuji was great guide!! He knew were to find the Pandas. He picked us up in a new, clean car, on time, even brought us some panda merch! Highly recommend. We went on afternoon trip and still saw a lot of Pandas:)

Amazing Panda Tour with Amazing Guide - Firstly, I must recognize Ji, our guide, he was amazing and made the difference. I would expect most tours the Panda Base to be similar in what you do and see, but Ji made it very easy for us. We happened to go on a holiday, so the park was extremely crowded. We were able to see everything we wanted to see, go at a pace that worked for us as a family, get tons of great pictures. It is worth going into a bit of the overall experience with Ji. He first sent us a communication text after booking to give us an overview, gave us all the information we needed to prepare for the tour and be ready the morning of the tour, and promptly picked us up at our hotel at the indicated time. He had a comfortable/modern vehicle that comfortably fitted the four of us. As he visits the park numerous times each week, sometimes twice a day, he is familiar with the best paths and recommendations even on days it is very crowded. While I wish we visited on a less crowded day - because who wouldn't - the experience was so much fun to see and do that you weren't really bothered if you happen to go on a crowded day. The tickets were integrated with our passport, so we just had to scan our passports on entry for admittance to the park. Again Ji took care of everything. Highly recommend this tour.

Personalised Panda Base tour and introduction to Chengdu with Liu Ji - We booked the Panda tour along with airport pick up and local familiarisation, an afternnon/evening tour of Chengdu and return trip to the airport.
Without Ji visiting the Panda Base would have been very stressful and we would probably have seen much less. As it was, we had an excellent visit and saw many Pandas with Ji guiding us and providing information along the way.
Over our 3 day visit, Liu Ji took great care of us. Ji was very attentive to our needs and preferences.
He created a personalised itinerary and was happy to amend to accommodate any changes we wanted to make.
Ji ensured that we fully met our objectives and more besides.
We had a fantastic time in Chengdu thanks to Ji and we will certainly engage his services again when we next visit Chengdu.
We highly recommend Liu Ji!

Panda Park Tourguide Ji - We booked a private Tour through the Panda Park, our tour Guide Ji did a Great Job,he picked us very early and had a comfortable arrival and we had a Great time throughout the tour and had some very Great and funny Moments. Ji is very recommendable.

Wonderful panda tour - so many pandas! - We had an amazing experience with simply the best tour guide Cindy! She was passionate and enthusiastic and clearly knew the park very well. She took us on the best route to see the pandas and definitely really knew the right way to walk around the park to have the best chance of seeing the pandas up close. We saw well over 20 giant pandas plus the Ed pandas out and about eating breakfast playing walking and sleeping.
The park itself is beautiful - lovely gardens and so nice in the early morning. Definitely worth getting up and going early.
We had a chance to buy some souvenirs afterwards and our driver was waiting to take us back to the hotel once we were done. Cindy was so kind and generous with her knowledge and time and this combined with the amazing pandas made for a truly unforgettable morning. If you can get Cindy as your guide you will love it!

A perfect weekend in Chengdu 🐼💚 - So grateful to our tour guide Ji for taking care of us during our weekend in Chengdu, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! He went the extra mile for us, showed us amazing places and provided fun and detailed information for my teenage children. We went to The Giant Panda Breeding Center, Panda Valley and an all-around highlights tour of Chengdu, with cool spots only an experienced guide would have insight on. Let him show you the best places to eat like a local too! We really felt spoiled and lucky to have him as our guide, and can’t wait to go back to Chengdu and explore some more 💚

Pandas! - Fantastic trip to the Chengdu Panda Research Centre. I got to see lots of pandas including young pandas (I'm told the best time to see babies is in the summer). The guide Ji was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke great English so no translation issues. If you want a trip where you can see pandas up close then this is a good one.
