Take a boat ride across the Yuecheng lake and then look down to the green forest from the cable car, later follow your guide to hike up the mountain, visiting various temples along the way such as the Jianfu temple, from the Tang Dynasty, or the Tianshi Cave, finished during the Qing Dynasty and where a famous Taoist master once taught. Take the same trail back down to the bottom of the mountain.

Interesting places and good guide - The guide Wells had very good english, and he and the driver were very attentious. I didn't last any time buying tickets to boat and cable car. Mount Qingcheng is very interesting, the birth of Taoism. And the Dujiangyan irrigation system is impressive. Wells explained to me the clever system built some centurires ago and still working. The lunch was very good. I liked the trip but would not do it again because of the cost benefit, mainly because I was traveling solo.

Day trip from chengdu - Great trip. Guide spoke excellent English and could understand our questions and answer them with context. He was considerate in his pacing and concerned for our safety. There are many many steps and the trip description should advise travelers that this is a strenuous activity. The irrigation site was beautiful with outstanding landscaping. The history and significance of the site was amazing. Our guide was very helpful in our understanding of the story.

아름다움과 문화적 가치가 유네스코 유적으로 등재될 가치가 충분하고 입구부터 출구까지 편리한 동선과 적절한 편의시설의 배치,숙련된 스텝과 조경등이 완벽했다.소문보다 더 좋았음.
무엇보다 현지 가이드 Wells의 뛰어난 가이던스가 우리 부부의 여행에 결정적 도움을 주었다. 해당 지역에 대한 해박한 지식과 친절함 위기 대처능력,순발력,배려 적절한 시간 관리,영어 구사능력등이 돋보였던 내가 강추할 수 있는 명가이드였다.

walk in the nature with a dating feeling - The tour itself was OK and many of the monuments were left aside in order to have a lunch.It took also more than the predicted time,which left me no time to visit the monuments at Chengdu.So for people that can speak some Chinese and want to do sightseeing I would recommend to go there by themshelves. They would manage to see more and walk around in the mountain,whose natural environment is comparable to Emeishan. But for people like me that like flirting with girls, this tour is ideal. Silvia,although not so beautiful, will let you have a nice dating feeling that you will remember for days.She also arranged for me a driver to drive me to the train station next day.

Wonderful experience - The views were amazing and I was lucky to be able to visit with good weather and a good guide. My guide Leila was friendly and very knowledgeable. Could tell that she's passionate about her job as she explained the significant of each location. I had a good time chatting with her and she even helped me get a bracelet at a nearby coffee place. Thank you so much. Definitely highly recommend this tour and if you have Leila as your guide, you'd be in good hands!

Fun, memorable tour - This tour is a great tour if you are interested in the history of Taoism and the great engineering marvels that supported China's ancient civilizations. My tour guide (Worley) was very knowledgeable, super friendly and I had a great time with her. I loved the lunch she took me to (restaurant near a local university, very local) and the fruits a good snack for the hiking trip. Make sure you dress warm because it will be cold in winter!

Beautiful nature and cultural experience, with amazing temples and very interesting historical sites - Great experience with knowledgeable and very nice guide and kind driver, explaining the history and importance of the sites we visited, also sharing about their culture. Interesting exchanges about our ways of living and flexibility to adapt to client interests. I would definitely recommend. It was a fantastic experience.

Wonderful tour, many many stairs - Had an awesome time seeing all the history and party's of this tour. Would've liked a little more time at the irrigation plant as we only saw the main pieces, none of the trails. Our guide was great, answered questions, allowed us time to explore each place and taught us lots about the history each place.

Package offered was way way over priced! - This package was way way over priced, it took only a short car ride distance to reach the place of interest, and the prices of the entrance tickets for the 2 places of interest i visited were pretty low too, less than US$15. And the lunch was taken at a local resturant, agaian the cost was less than US$20.
And yet the total package cost was about US$250 which was way way over priced.
When I checked with a few local travel agencies, it costs only about 200CNY.
I strongly advise foreign visitors to review your plan before signing up the packages offered.
