Slightly inconsistent though fun, friendly and helpful for families - We had a little inconsistency with our RAP pass in that different workers took different approaches, proving difficult with an autistic child that needs very clear instructions in advance alongside consistency. However all employees were polite and clear and we had a really lovely day

Queues take the fun away - Mostly I felt extremely disappointed by the queue times in the park. None of the queues was under 60 minutes and the longest one was 180 minutes. The times on the app were also changing drastically, i.e. at some point Tidal Wave was showing a queue time of 25 minutes and when we arrived there a few minutes later it jumped up to 85 minutes, so we ended up leaving again. I feel that the park needs to be much more regulated and no more than X amount of people should be in the park at the same time, so that queues even out better. Also some of the bigger rides were closed, meaning that queues were even longer at other places. I still had fun and enjoyed the rides but the proportion between queuing and the ride times (i.e. 60 min queue for 30 second ride) is not acceptable in my opinion). I don't think I would come back anytime soon.

Good fun, long ques - Single riders is not a good idea, as lots of people abused this on our visit, there were lots of groups in the single rider que lines

Not buying Fastrack? Forget it! - After visiting Thorpe Park on many occasions I have only experienced no more than half a dozen rides in an 8 hour day. That's with getting on the first ride as soon as the gates open and not having to queue too long for the second, Between 11 and 5 expect 2 hour queues for the premium rides, more if Merlin have sold as many tickets as they can, which I'm sure they do. Last week we didn't get in until 11 and by 3pm we'd only had 2 rides, with the prospect of another 2 hour wait for another what could I do to prevent the day fizzleing out? You've probably guessed - Fastrack. I'm not offering this as a solution, but a last resort. I couldn't buy a Fastrack pass but had to buy 2 queue jumps for Hyperia and Swarm costing £70 . We ended up having 6 rides but would only have had 4 if I hadn't done so. So the day cost neatly £200 for the two of us, you might not think that's too bad for a day out and you wouldn't be wrong. What gets me is you might think you're getting a fun day out for your admission fee, when in reality all your buying is frustration. What happens if everyone bought Fastrack tickets, or even half? Then see the number of rides you get dwindle to 3. Why not just sell tickets for £100, limit the numbers, and guarantee 10 rides for your money? They won't when they're allowed to keep selling so many tickets we end up queueing for 2 hours plus. Customer satisfaction? I think that gets trampled on with every guest that comes through the turnstiles

Waiting times of up to 3 hours!!! - The primitive concept of waiting hours in a queue for about a 1 minute thrill soured the experience. What about an app in which one can wander from one ride to the next (with little breaks to recover and spend more money on food and merchandising) so as not to have to waste time in line? Of course the app would only allow 3 main rides and a few lesser rides because there seems to be no limit to the number of people they let in. Even the fast track customers waited an hour on the main rides. I accept that many people don't mind the wait if they aren't used to a productive life, e.g. children, but for me it was torture. As long as you are aware of all this, then you shouldn't be as frustrated as me.

Not worth the money..go on holiday abroad instead. It will be cheaper - I genuinely can’t believe how much we spent! Over £800 for 2 adults and 1 teen for what turned out to be a completely underwhelming and frustrating day. Between entry fees, fast passes, and parking, the price was nothing short of extortionate. And for what? A park that feels like it’s coasting off its former glory. Several rides were closed with no clear explanation. Staff barely acknowledged fast passes so why bother selling them? The place looks tired, run-down, and honestly a bit sad. Peeling paint, closed concessions, and a general air of neglect. And here’s a fun one: finding a hot drink felt like a mission from a dystopian survival game. When we finally tracked down a shop advertising hot chocolate, the staff said, “Sorry, no cups.” How does that even happen at a major theme park? Oh, and of course ride photos are extra. Because after charging hundreds of pounds, you still want to squeeze a few more quid out of us. Overall? It felt like a con. We left cold, caffeine-deprived, and seriously unimpressed. Won’t be back, and wouldn’t recommend.

Life's about choices... Choose anything but here. - First time visiting with my 2 teenage kids visting. 3 of the main rides (colossus, nemesis, and samurai) were closed and there were 30+ busses there from local schools. Queues were 60-150mins so basically you get 3 rides that are some of the shortest I have ever been on. Been to many amusement parks in many countries and I would rate this on the bottom of the list.

Avoid! - Terrible theme park! 3 rides in 6 hours. Several of main rides closed for big portions of the day. Food and drink exorbitantly priced. People pushing into queues. I accidentally paid for 2 parking spaces when placing my order, so I emailed their customer service team only to be told they would not refund. Says everything about the company. Avoid and don’t waste your time here.

Unacceptable queuing. Kids collapsing in the heat. - School trip. Here right now. Absolutely searing heat and thousands of school kids being forced to queue for inordinate amounts of time just to get through the gate. No canopies. I’ve already witnessed three collapse. SHOCKING!!! I have been here just over an hour and our group are only just approaching the entrance. Nothing less than horrendous.
