Brilliant. It’s a must see. Fabulous experience giving information about all sorts of sickness. - Absolutely fantastic. Perfect for most ages, small children will enjoy most of it but some areas aren’t suitable. For all other ages it’s an amazing experience. Lots of information and lots of humour…a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Please visit, you won’t regret it.

A fun hour of knowledge - This is just the right blend of knowledge and entertainment, wrapped up in Dungeonesq theme props. A must see for a fun day out

Worth a visit - We thought this was a great interactive experience. A bit gruesome for some people maybe but very good. The building it is housed in is beautiful to. It's in an old church.

Horrible histories comes to Chester - The experience was fab! Not expensive and kept the kids entertained for over an hour. The staff were lovely and it’s been done really well.

Quirky - Whilst arriving in Chester fir 4 day trip in the rain, stumbled across this so gave it a try. Museum of the history of medicine in the ages with lots of quirky and crude exhibits. something different and worth a visit had a little gift shop fir some ghoulish souvenirs which was nice. Staff made you welcome and gave some good knowledge

Fairly decent. - It’s decent, but if you know anything about medicine or history or medical practices, there’s probably not much you won’t already know. The first few rooms are so deal we had to use a torch to see our way around, but it’s fun.

Informative but needs work - The place itself was full of information and was a good learning experience. What let it down was the fact it was run down, there were elements that were broken, thus dulling the experience. It's a shame as if they took the effort to repair the broken parts of the experience, it would be a great place to visit.

A matter of taste - Although some elements of the ‘museum’ will appeal to children, for adults it might not be a good way to spend time in Chester. The lighting, in parts, makes it difficult to read the information displayed and many of the exhibits are a bit grubby and not in great condition.

Don’t waste your money! - Really looking forward to this but was extremely disappointed. If I could only afford one treat, and I paid for this rubbish I would have been gutted. Don’t waste your money. It’s full of plastic organs and fake blood which are totally unrealistic. It’s like a Halloween display that children have made for fun. If you want to look at different lumps of plastic poo and plastic food with bits of sponge painted and stuck on, to look like mould, then by all means this is definitely for you, but I don’t think it’s worth the money! If you are taking children in be aware that there’s a mature content area that they could easily enter and see some unpleasant stuff. Definitely do not recommend.
