- Mae Khachan Hot Spring - Experience the Mae Khachan Hot Spring, where you can soak your feet in soothing, warm mineral water. There are three natural hot springs, each approximately 3 meters wide, with a temperature of about 80 degrees. Eggs can be boiled in just 3 minutes. Private mineral baths are available, connecting the hot springs to the baths. A market offers souvenirs like locally woven cotton clothes and carved wood ornaments, along with restaurants, tea shops, and cafes.
- Wat Rong Khun - Next, explore Wat Rong Khun, a distinctive temple known for its white color and the use of glass pieces in the plaster, which glisten in the sunlight. The white color represents the Buddha’s purity, while the glass signifies the Buddha’s wisdom and the Dhamma, the Buddhist teachings. Eventually, the site will feature nine buildings, including an ubosot, a hall for enshrining Buddhist relics, a meditation hall, monks’ living quarters, and an art gallery.
- Golden Triangle - The journey continues to the Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Burma, and Laos converge.
- Donxao Island ສວນວັດທະນະທຳບໍ່ແກ້ວ - After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, board a boat on the Mekong River to the Laos island of Don Xao. The tour will then move to Mae Sai, the Thai border town with Myanmar, where you can explore the lively border market and catch a glimpse of Myanmar, just ten meters across the river.
- Hilltribe Villages - On the return to Chiang Mai, a stop will be made at an Akha and Yao hill tribe village. After visiting both villages, the tour will head back to Chiang Mai, where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the Chiang Mai City area.
