Family time - Gobi and our driver Mr. Bo were incredible. We talked about our mutual love of foods. Gobi made a dinner reservation for us and it was wonderful

An amazing lifetime experience - On 26 Feb 2026 my wife and I did this tour. Our Guide Mr Gobi and driver Mr Boo were exceptional.
This tour is not a pre staged ‘tourist’ attraction but an insight into the daily lives of these amazing people.
Mr Gobi was extremely knowledgable and along with driver Mr Boo gave information about the daily lives of the people of these villages.
My wife and I could not rate this tour more highly. An amazing experience.

A wonderful morning. - We had a fantastic morning with our guide Linda. She was very knowledgeable about the Hilltribe culture and shared a lot about Thai history and politics. We were the only visitors in the Hmong village and our time in the broom lady’s house was very special.

Very enriching visit of ethnic groups - Everything was perfect.
Our guide, Noom, was very friendly and gave us all the necessary explanations about the ethnicities (and even tips for the rest of our trip).
The excursion is done in two stages. First, visit an authentic Hmong village, explain their way of life (especially agriculture) Second, visit a Long Neck village. Beyond the shopping facade, we saw the back of the decor thanks to Noom.
Half day very rewarding, to do without hesitation!

Excellent tour, highly recommended - We enjoyed an excellent and informative afternoon, guided by Gobi, who helped us gain insight into the history of the tribespeople, who were refugees from Myanmar and China.
Gobi spoke their language, which aided communication and navigated the challenges of being interested, but not intrusive.

- We had a wonderful time with Gobi today. He was very warm and witty which made the trip very enjoyable. He was particularly knowledgeable about tribal culture and took the time to explain details to us. Thank you so much for a memorable trip!

We just returned from our... - We just returned from our tour with Nui and Boo and had an amazing visit to the Hill Tribes. We were a bit nervous if our visit would be intrusive and/ or unauthentic, but it was quite the opposite. We learned so much about not only the Hill peoples’ experiences, but also Nui’s since he grew up in the country. Both driver and guide treated us so kind ( water, wet cloths ) and even took us on an additional stop to a wonderful bee product company. We enjoyed their company so much we are hoping to fit in another tour with them. Truly a fun and educational trip you won’t forget!!

Excellent Chiang Mai tour guides - We took three trips whilst in Chiang Mai being expertly guided by Gobi and safely driven by Mr Boo. We would highly recommend them if you are looking for excellent, amusing and above all knowledgeable guides.
