Sumidero Canyon National Park - This adventure begins at the Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport in Chiapas. From there, the journey continues to the Sumidero Canyon dock, one of the country’s most stunning natural wonders. Aboard a boat, the tour will navigate the Grijalva River for two hours, surrounded by cliffs reaching up to 1,000 meters high. Along the way, unique species of flora and fauna can be spotted, such as spider monkeys, crocodiles, and pelicans. Additionally, visitors will see beautiful rock formations like the Seahorse and the Cave of Colors.
Chiapa de Corzo - Next, the tour proceeds to the charming Chiapa de Corzo, where the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, the Lacquer Museum, the Central Plaza, and its Mudejar Kiosk will be explored. There will be free time to enjoy local cuisine, including delicious Chiapanecan dishes like baked cochito and Chiapanecan tamales. Finally, the journey continues to San Cristóbal de las Casas, where guests can settle into their hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

El Chiflón Waterfall - The second day starts early, heading to the El Chiflón Waterfalls Ecotourism Park, a place surrounded by mountains and sugarcane fields. Here, guests can enjoy a walk along trails lined with trees like cedar and mahogany, while discovering impressive waterfalls such as the “Bridal Veil” and the “Rainbow.” The most spectacular is the 120-meter-high waterfall that creates a stunning water curtain. Montebello Lakes National Park - Afterwards, the tour continues to the Montebello Lakes National Park, a natural paradise composed of over 50 crystal-clear lakes and lagoons, surrounded by lush vegetation. The most iconic lakes will be visited, such as Lake Montebello, Lake Pojoj, and the International Lagoon, where activities like raft or kayak rides can be enjoyed (not included). The area is also renowned for its cuisine, offering the chance to taste local dishes in traditional kitchens.
Indigenous Communities of Chamula and Zinacantán. Transfer to Tuxtla Airport
San Juan Chamula - On the final day, the tour heads to the Tzotzil indigenous communities of Chamula and Zinacantán. In San Juan Chamula, the church dedicated to Saint John the Baptist will be explored, a place of great religious syncretism where Mayan and Catholic rituals blend. On Sundays, locals from nearby communities gather to offer their products at the local market.
Zinacantán - Then, in Zinacantán, the church dedicated to Saint Lawrence will be visited, and an interactive experience with local families will be enjoyed. Guests will learn about the textile tradition of Tzotzil women and participate in tortilla making. After this unique cultural experience, the tour returns to Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport to conclude.
