A Wonderful Visit - I toured the Museum of Contemporary Art and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The museum is quite manageable to take your time and explore within an hour or two. The galleries are thought provoking and the public spaces are very imaginative. I enjoyed walking through the gardens as well, taking it all in!

Easy to use app - Great app. I just breezed right on through showing my tickets on the app. User friendly and ease of use at the entrance. Only thing that would have made it better was if I could have added it to my wallet.

Chicago: One of the most beautiful cities in the world - If you want to throw prejudices overboard, you should travel to Chicago: Al Capone or high crime rate? Forget it. For me, Chicago is one of the most beautiful cities I have seen - and I have seen many. An incredibly harmonious collection of outstanding architecture from all eras since 1870 in a confined space. The heart of the city can be explored on foot. And it’s a city of millions that has managed to keep 36 miles of shoreline to Lake Michigan free from any private use, only parks like the famous and popular Millennium Park, beaches and public facilities (including open-air stage and museums) connecting the city center to the water. Super nice and helpful people meet you who are maintaining a very slow pace for a US metropolis. Other advantages: Good public transport, top gastronomy, lots of art in museums and public spaces. Negatives? Chicago is noisy. From the frequently perceptible sirens of the rescue vehicles to the fan of the air conditioning in the hotel room. But Chicago is no different than other US cities. But what sets the city apart from all the other cities I know, makes it a worthwhile destination time and again.

Great Visit! - Omg, it’s a huge, Museum. If u make a wrong turn u can be back where u started. Lots to see here not a lot of time. So, come early. Staff is very polite & cool. It’s priced @ $32 for adults & kids admitted for free. It’s in a great location to oversee some of downtown Chicago. I bought an iconic lion reusable tote bag.

Waste of time and money - Cost $10 as a non-US visitor. Part of it was closed, very little on display, mainly video presentations. Some of the sculptures didn’t have labels, so no idea who made them. Sent me up to the 4th floor to start, then got told my backpack had to be carried on my chest, not my back. I explained that would strain my back, so was accepted as a medical reason. Never got told why it had to be my chest. Then went down to the 2nd floor and told I had to check my backpack in (on the 1st floor where I bought my ticket). This wasn’t explained upon entry. I explained the same, then was told “Ah, but you have a water bottle so you need to”. What complete nonsense. Only gave the review 2 stars because the gift shop is good.

CMCA Was Not For Us - Established in 1967, this museum is one of the world's largest contemporary art venues. The museum's collection is composed of thousands of objects of Post-World War II visual art and is run gallery-style with individually curated exhibitions throughout the year. OUR TAKE: If you’re into politically-charged art, then this is your place. Otherwise, we found it to be lackluster and wish we would have gone to the Chicago Art Institute instead.

Waste of time - There is almost no exhibits and the ones we did see were not worth the walk. I have been to so many art museums and this was one of the worst so far.

Buy tickets at the museum. - Museum was amazing but buy the tickets there. Attended during the height of summer season and there was no line. Tickets twice as much purchased on viator.

Frankly there's better things to do in Chicago - I love contemporary art, but frankly the world is laughed at. The rooms present little work for almost 20 usd. 45 min is enough and not 3 h
