• West Loop - Throughout the tour, we’ll be exploring the West Loop and Restaurant Row. It’s not a ton of walking, but it’s enough to help walk off some of the donuts you’ll be eating.
• Voodoo Doughnut Fulton Market - Voodoo Doughnuts is an incredible new donut shop in Chicago. If you haven’t been here, we’re very excited to share it with you. And if you have been here, you know how good they are.
• Sawada Coffee - Here we’ll sample some of their amazing donuts from their partner, Doughnut Vault. They also have coffee by renowned Japanese latte artist and coffee enthusiast, Hiroshi Sawada.

The journey begins at Do-Rite Donuts, a local shop renowned for its high-quality donuts. From there, the tour will proceed along the Randolph corridor, exploring the history of Chicago’s West Loop, a historic neighborhood that has undergone numerous revitalizations since its time as the industrial heart of the City of Big Shoulders. Participants will have the opportunity to taste the unique, matcha-infused creations at the hidden gem, Matcha-Cita cafe, where a photo opportunity is a must! The tour will also feature the extravagant donut creations of Voodoo Donuts, a new shop aiming to make its mark with indulgent flavors and surprising toppings, originally from Portland. The journey will continue through a charming, old-fashioned brickwork alley adorned with stunning floral street art, leading to Sawada Coffee, owned by the globally acclaimed latte artist, Hiroshi Sawada. Throughout the tour, anecdotes and historical insights about each location, the surrounding neighborhood, and Chicago’s history will be shared.
