Definitely recommend - Colin is very personable and knowledgeable, even though he’s relatively young. He’s interested in art and will show you a bunch of cool things in the city. He’s also very adaptable when we started getting rained on and he just pivoted to underground walkways.

Secret Love For Mosaics or Quirky Fun?! Both. - First day in Chicago… and what a better way than to start with a general tour? The catch? It’s far from general. It turned out to be a private tour for myself and my 15-year-old son. I did not know what to expect, yet reading the reviews, compelled me to book the tour. Fantastic decision! Turns out, we had a private tour with Colin because no one else booked for that day. Find the guy with the red, white, and blue backpack and you have found a Chicago gem. Passion is everything when you are hosting visitors to your city. He told us secrets and tips that only a local who has studied every nook and cranny would know. I highly recommend you take this tour – I even told him he should teach high school and middle school groups because they need to know some of their local treasures. My son was captivated the whole time because this was not a boring history lesson. The writings were truly on the wall and the sculptures and mosaics on this tour will leave an impression. Thanks for the tour and the laughs Colin! We thoroughly enjoyed it. By the way, your tour helped make sense of the stories told on the Architecture river Cruise. I doubt anyone else had that kind of impact. I would love to post all my photos, but I’m not going to ruin any of the surprises!! A Chicago must!!!

Chic-a-go girls - Collin is smart, funny and a very likable guy. We learned so much in two hours, I could have spent the day with him. I enjoyed seeing the inside of building the most.

Diverse, historical, enough and not too much! Fun facts along the way - The tour was super easy to walk, although we covered a lot of ground. It was diverse in the buildings that we were able to go inside of as well as you from the exterior. Also, seeing massive art displays and really cool street art along the way. It was enough and not too much!Absolutely absolutely absolutely, loved the very end of the tour. If he asks if you have an extra 20 minutes to view the last two buildings make sure you say yes! Colin was super fun, very knowledgeable and easy-going.
