Everyone should see the Anne Frank exhibit - The museum was a great experience, as always, including the very enjoyable Spider-Man and costumes special exhibits. However, the highlight was the well-done, touching, and sad Anne Frank exhibit. While it includes a very realistic recreation of their hideaway, the highlight is all of the displays on the rise of the Nazis and the atrocities they committed. Very powerful overall and something that everyone in the country should see,

Amazing - Griffin Museum of Science and Industry : The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry (Griffin MSI) is a world-class destination located in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood. Housed in the only remaining building from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition, it is the largest science center in the Western Hemisphere and focuses heavily on immersive, "hands-on" learning rather than traditional static displays. Must-See Exhibits • U-505 Submarine: A massive, authentic German U-boat captured during WWII. You can walk through the vessel (additional ticket required) or explore the surrounding high-tech gallery. • Science Storms: A two-story exhibit where you can step into a 40-foot tornado, trigger a Tesla coil "lightning" strike, and experiment with fire, water, and magnetism. • The Coal Mine: A beloved Chicago tradition that takes you down a mineshaft into a replica of an Illinois coal mine to see the machinery and history of the industry. • Transportation Gallery: Features a Boeing 727 hanging from the ceiling (which you can board), the Pioneer Zephyr train, and a massive model railroad that spans from Seattle to Chicago. • **Henry Crown Space Center: Home to the Apollo 8 Command Module and interactive displays about space exploration and the future of NASA. Overall it’s an amazing experience and must do if coming with kids to Chicago.

There is so much to see,... - There is so much to see, read, and learn about - the ticket price is really a bargain for what you get. If I lived anywhere close to Chicago, I’d invest in a membership. I hope to be back someday soon.

Embrace Your Inner Science Nerd - Such a great science and technology museum with a wealth of exhibits. Don’t miss the U-Boat Tour or the Coal Mine Tour. Both of these are very unique experiences.

Wish I had more time. We... - Wish I had more time. We couldn’t see everything. Will return and spend the whole day. The Tesla coil was cool and so was the fire machine.

Touring my city - I totally loved the experience and the new spider man exhibit they have going on right now. Haven’t been here in awhile so it was good especially for bringing back some memories. Love the blue, red, yellow, and green theme they have now. Definitely an arts lover playground. Can’t wait to return!!!!

Fabulous - An absolutely fabulous museum. After FIVE HOURS, the children still weren't tired of it... Everything is interesting and fascinating—you could easily spend the entire day there. The kids loved the U-boat, the Pioneer Zephyr, the Boeing 727, the tornadoes and lightings, the motion of waves, the Baby chicks... I thought the tickets were a bit expensive, but actually, it's really worth it. The same goes for the museum's underground parking. It costs $22, but you have direct access to the museum—it's super convenient. I hadn't booked the timed activities, but the museum galleries were more than enough for us. The temporary exhibition "The Costumes of Paul Tazewell" is magnificent! (included in general admission)

I would definitely come back and recommend it - definitely if you like museums this one you can't miss It's a little dated. I think it's missing an update on a few things. But it's generally ten. When I get back now it'll be with my daughter and she'll love it.

Lots of refreshing being done. - We went for the last of trees around the world. We are also members so I knew that going into the day it was going to be very busy and we probably wouldn’t see much. There is a lot of Marianne being done- I just got an email that many of the exhibits are opening back up. We as a family of 4 with 2 (tweens) can easily spend 3-4 hours each time we come. I’d also suggest packing a lunch - they do have food but lines can get very long. My favorite is the fairy castle. I also appreciate how easy parking is. This is a great way to always the day.

Time to invest money to keep interactive exhibits running - There are interesting exhibits, but we were disappointed how many of the interactive displays were "down for maintenance". We enjoyed the UBoat exhibit the most.
