Immersive Mayan Experience - This tour was absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide Jordi was so knowledgeable about the history of Mexico. When we got to Chichen Itza, our tour guide Alex gave us the perfect experience, and we learned so much about the highly intelligent Mayan culture. We went to a tequila tasting and met some lovely people who were very kind and friendly, then we got to swim in the most beautiful cenote! The final stop was to have lunch with a Mayan family which was delicious and an amazing experience. I feel much more cultured after this tour and I highly recommend this activity to anyone who wants to learn more about Mayan culture.

Wonderful day-tour with a friendly, informative guide that gives you a glimpse into Mayan history - We really enjoyed our trip to Chichén Itzá and learning about the Mayan history. Our tour guide, Josué, picked us up in a beautiful van on time and drove us our entire way. He was great to talk to and was happy to weave in historical information and information about modern day Mexico to aid our learning. Every step of the day felt like he was connecting us with close friends, taking us to stops after Chichén Itzá that were not crowded and more local with fewer tourists. The Cenote we visited was more isolated, managed by a local family, and absolutely breathtaking. Josué gave us as much time as we wanted to swim in the waters. The peak of the day was visiting the Mayan home where we got to eat a delicious lunch and learn more about modern day Mayan culture. The drive home was peaceful and he dropped us right off at our hotel. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and use Boutique Tours Mexico going forward.

Great experience!! - We had a wonderful time during our private tour with Josh. My 8 and 11 year old are very tired and all smiles. The entire experience, from booking to completion, was *chef's kiss*. Josh, our main tour guide, was upbeat, friendly and informative. Our tour guide at Chichen Itza, Alex, was equally wonderful. 10/10, will book again. Thank you so much for being a part of our family vacation.

Amazing day to Chichen Itza with a fantastic guide - This was perhaps our favorite part of our trip to Mexico. Homer was an absolutely awesome tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and kind. The walk around Chichen Itza was really great and informative, and we definitely recommend going early to beat the crowds and the heat.
The stop at Valladolid was interesting and the architecture is quite nice. The stop at the cenote was magical and extremely refreshing. And lunch was absolutely delicious.
It is a good amount of driving but Homer is a great conversationalist and the time goes quickly. Definitely recommend this experience if you are in the area.

Want to beat the crowds and have a perfect day? This is for you! - This tour was absolute perfection. Leo, our guide, was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.
Started the pickup at 7:00am from our hotel in Riveria Maya. The car was spacious, clean, and modern for 2 Adults and 2 teenagers. We headed straight for Chichen Itza. When we arrived, Leo handed us some ice cold water and we met up with a local personal guide who had our passes ready to go. We flew through check in and had the main Temple to basically to ourselves before the crowds arrived. We did the rest of the tour and had Leo waiting for us with a smile and more ice cold water. He even knew the secret spot to not wait in line for the bathrooms. The crowds had arrived by then so we were very glad to have missed that chaos.
We headed for a quick tour of the town (our request to go fast) then headed for the cenote. After a quick change and shower to make sure all the oil was off our bodies, we headed down to the cenote. Another family was leaving at that exact time so again... We had the place to ourself! Otherworldly is the only way to describe it's beauty. Leo was so patient as we took a million pictures and jumped and floated and really just enjoyed our time.
After the cenote we went for lunch at a local Mayan family. We met the family... Grandma is literally cooking the chicken and tortillas. Homemade Guacamole, pico, and so much more that I came even remember the name. It was delicious. My two picky eaters are everything single drop in their plate. Very authentic and very delicious!!
We headed back to the hotel and all feel asleep on the ride for a little siesta knowing we had the perfect day.
I will 100% use the tour operator again. Worth every single penny!!

Amazing tour with Josh!! - This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! We visited Chichén Itzá, explored the charming town of Valladolid (with some tequila and mezcal tasting too!), swam in a stunning cenote, and enjoyed a delicious homemade lunch with a Mayan family. Everything was well-planned and ran smoothly. Our guide, Josh, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Could not have had a better day, thank you so much Josh. We learned a lot and had a great time throughout the day. Highly recommend!

Best part of Tulum trip was booking this!! - 10/10. This is your sign to BOOK IT!! You cannot NOT do this if you’re in town. Worth every penny to have a private guide and beat the crowds at chichen itza and the cenotes. Group tours are a 13 hour day, private is 6-7 hours. You’ll spend the money on other stuff anyways, just put it to this private tour instead and you will not regret it.
Our guide Leo was phenomenal. He was very knowledgeable with historical and cultural facts. Easy to talk to and very personable. We rode in a 2023 sienna, very comfortable. These guides are federally certified and recognized so you’re riding safely.
Chichen itza was great, but the cherry on top and best part of this was the cenote swimming and the traditional authentic meal with an indigenous family on their family lands. Absolutely breath taking. A memory I will cherish for ever.
