Super Tour thanks to Josh - A great day with our driver and guide Josh! Chichen itza and the Cenote were a great experience and the tequila tasting a treat! Above all, the traditional Mayan food was great!

Best tour company in Mexico- Ask for Josh! - This tour was incredible. I’ve been on tours all around the world and can honestly say this was the best experience I’ve had with a tour company. Joshue (aka Josh) was an amazing guide. Super knowledgeable, friendly & funny. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. Chichen Itza was great, but the best parts of the tour came after. The remote cenote he took me to was magical, and it was just the two of us- no crowds of tourists. It was beautiful. Even better was visiting Pedro & Laura’s home for lunch. Experiencing an authentic Mayan family’s village was really, really special. Yes, it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for! This company goes out of their way to give you unique, off the beaten path experiences. There are other private tours similarly priced, but I can assure you they won’t show the same care and give the same level of service & knowledge this company does. This experience was top notch. I will absolutely be booking the Boutique Tours Mexico again and definitely asking for Josh.

Book this Tour & Ask for Josh - I’ve taken countless tours around the world, and this one is in my top 3. Joshuel (aka Josh) was such a great guide. He knew I was a bit nervous and within minutes had me laughing and joking. I felt perfectly safe and comfortable the entire time. A lot of people will tell you not to leave the resort while in Mexico, but I would trust this company to take me anywhere. Chichen Itza was amazing & the local guide there was great. The real magic happens after Chicken Itza though. We went to an absolutely stunning cenote far from the crowds of tourists. We had the entire cenote to ourselves & it was AMAZING. Absolutely stunning. Josh let me spend as much time as I wanted there, no rushing to get to the next spot. And the next spot- is truly the highlight of this tour. I want to give a big thank you to Pedro & Laura for welcoming me to their village, sharing their Mayan culture and traditions, pretending that the tortillas I made were good (haha) and most of all for Laura’s delicious home cooked lunch. I was so taken aback by their warmth and was so interested to see the way they live. Again, Josh was beside me every step of the day making me laugh, interpreting for me, and telling me all about the history of the Mexicans & the Mayans. I truly learned so much for him. Such a knowledgeable guide. The description of this tour really doesn’t capture how special it is. I will absolutely be taking another tour with Boutique Tours Mexico and will 100% be requesting Joshuel again. Thanks for a great day!

A lovely personalised and paced tour - Our tour was with Leo, who was brilliant. He kept us up to date and arrived on time. The transport was comfortable and we had water given to us which was great as it was a hot day. Leo taught us so much about not just the sites that we visited but general Mexican and Mayan culture which was fascinating- he is very knowledgeable. The Chichen Itza tour was also very interesting, our guide was Eberth and the handover was smooth. We arrived nice and early so it was not too busy. The tour was adapted to meet our needs and our guide recognised when our daughter got a bit hot and bothered, and so we finished a little early. The cenote swim was very refreshing, and Leo was very patient as we spent a lot of time here. Everything was explained well and we never felt rushed. The lunch at the same place as the cenote was a local buffet and the food felt very fresh. It was one of the nicest meals we had on our trip to Mexico! We did not spend a lot of time in Vallodidad, however we were taken to a tequila shop and able to taste some tequila and other liquers which were very nice! Overally, a really fantastic tour, enjoyed by the whole family! Thank you to Leo and Boutique Tours

10/10 would recommend !! - Jordi our driver and guide was so kind ! 100% recommend .. private tour is the way to go !! You don't have to wait for anybody, you can make some changes to the tour as you wish . And, The best part is that you may stay in the cenote for as long as you like ! Other non- private tours that i have tried before , only give you 20-30 mins on the cenote part.. but we spend over an hour the water was so good ! Jordi had drinks ready for us ! Omar our chichen itza guide was so informative too! I just love how we can go at out own pace on the while trip.. and my fave part was probably Jordi having cooled down the van waiting for us after chichen itza because it was scorching hot! So Omar coordinated with Jordi to cool yhe van as we were nearing the end of the chichen itza tour ! Amazing service ! We didnt have to wait for anything , skipped all the ticketing lines and such ..

Amazing- worth every penny! - This was fantastic from start to finish. Our guide was Leo who gave us so much info and really tailored the day to meet our needs. The price is high for the private tour but we thought it would suit our daughter better and it really did! Leo was friendly and knowledgeable and very patient when we wanted to swim a little extra in the cenote. The lunch was delicious and we also tasted some tequila in Vallodidad! An amazing tour and we would absolutely use this company again and recommend them to everyone

Immersive Mayan Experience - This tour was absolutely fantastic! Our tour guide Jordi was so knowledgeable about the history of Mexico. When we got to Chichen Itza, our tour guide Alex gave us the perfect experience, and we learned so much about the highly intelligent Mayan culture. We went to a tequila tasting and met some lovely people who were very kind and friendly, then we got to swim in the most beautiful cenote! The final stop was to have lunch with a Mayan family which was delicious and an amazing experience. I feel much more cultured after this tour and I highly recommend this activity to anyone who wants to learn more about Mayan culture.
