Fabulous trip - 5 stars - Yesterday we met our guide for the day Jessica Plats for our private tour. Jess was amazing, very knowledgeable able to answer any questions, a great driver and perfect host for the day. We literally never stopped talking from pick up to drop off. We would highly recommend this tour and guide for a truly superb day!

Perfect day tour - Ivan and Dennis picked us up promptly from our resort. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. They were friendly and immediately put us at ease. Ivan was very knowledgeable about the local area and the Mayan history of Chichén Itza. Dennis found a wonderful roadside restaurant for lunch that was delicious and reasonably priced. Ivan made sure to take plenty of photos so we will have beautiful reminders of our visit. We will book another tour with Tours with Mike the next time we’re in the Playa del Carmen area.

Great Service - Tours With Mike was a great service for our vacation. They were prompt, professional and a huge help. Ivan our guide was knowledgeable of the Mayan history and we enjoyed learning from him. I'd book this company again without delay.

Amazing Day with Manny! - We had the best experience with Manny to Chichèn Itzá . He arrived nice and early as requested at our hotel for a 6.30am tour, he was very friendly and chatty and explained the plan for the day and asked us if we had any specific preferences. The tour of the Chichen Itzá was so thorough and detailed. Manny answered any questions we had and made sure rhat we were able to get good photos and see interesting f details away from the big tour groups. Being there for opening meant we missed all the crowds and enabled us to see the spectacle in detail without a lot of crowding. It was wonderful to see. We then went to the Cénote but Manny was sure to check if we wanted to do that first or have an early lunch. We chose to Swim first and Manny took us to a beautiful cenote. Unfortunately it was unexpectedly very crowded due to 3 buses being there which Manny said had never happened before. We swam and had a good time in the cool water but didn’t stay as long as we perhaps would because of the crowds. We then went to Valladolid to a restaurant for lunch and Manny Made some great recommendations, we really enjoyed the food and haven’t sauce was delicious and spicy which we loved. Manny gave us some recommendations for my own hot sauce recipes too for the habaneros I grow at home. After lunch we went to a small ice cream shop in the town and it was fantastic, lots of flavours to choose from and ice cream being my favourite food really added a fun treat to the day. We chatted with Manny about ice cream and how we make it and the benefits of different recipes. He made some recommendations for Mexican flavours too! The drive back to the hotel took an unexpected detour because of a major road closure bur despite the added journey tike Manny made it interesting explaining about things along the roadside on the way and chatting about his family. We had a really wonderful day and Manny really took care of us and made the day so interesting. He also gave me 91 photos at the end of the day he had taken for us with some great shots! I would also like to thank Mike for the last minute change we had to make to the tour date because my husband was sick, Mike was very understanding and helped us reschedule: We would absolutely recommend Toues with Mike ans Manny as your guide ans I would absolutely book again in the future an excursion with them. Fabulous

Cenotes and chichen temples - Jessica was fantastic. Incredibly friendly super knowledgeable she really made the tour everything we wanted. When we return we will 100% use tours with Mike again.

Awesome trip with Ivan! - I took my family to Club Med for a week. I decided to take my son (6 years old) to Chichen Itza and Cenote. My wife had run across a group on FB that recommended Tours by Mike instead of the excursion bus tour that Club Med offers. We left at 6:30 and got back at roughly 4-4:30. Ivan was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Easy conversation. It’s a nice alternative to the bus tour. It’s exclusive for you and your family. You’re not waiting on a bus full of people to use restrooms, eat, drink and ask questions. Amazing architecture and history at Chichen Itza. Unbelievable swimming at Cenote. We also visited a local, out of the way restaurant with delicious food for lunch on the way back. I would highly recommend for anybody looking for faster traveling and a more personalized experience. For only $40 more per person. It is well worth the money.

Awesome tour of Chichan Itza - We had our tour with Ivan who was fantastic. Very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and about Mexicos history as well. The Cenote was cool and lunch was fantastic. Ivan also became an unofficial photographer without being asked. The whole day and Ivan was fantastic, would definitely recommend. P.S. when doing a private tour, you do miss all the crowds, which is what we wanted.

Private Chichen Itza tour - Could not have went better. Manny was very knowledgeable and did an incredible job. Will absolutely use them again on future trips.

Chichen Itza and cenotes swim - Our personal tour with Jessica Plata was the highlight of our Cancun trip this far! She is so knowledgeable of SO many things and really made us feel welcomed! Not enough thank yous in the world to show our appreciation! It really helped bring us closer to the Mayan culture and eager to learn more! Not to mention the cenotes swim and lunch, too!
