Wonderful private tour of Chichen Itsa. - As Chichen Itsa was 2.5 to 3 hours from our resort, we wanted to do a faster private tour that just included the ruins. It was so easy to book and we loved our driver ( forget name) and our guide, Eduardo. Both were professional, safe, and friendly. As three women alone that was very important to us. Eduardo was very knowledgeable and experienced with relating the history of the temples and the Mayan people. The trip there and back was very comfortable in a van with a cooler stocked with water and other drinks. We actually did another private tour with this company to a cenote and Tulum I’ll review separately. We found the prices for a private tour to be very reasonable! Don’t forget to tip 15 to 20% though!! They can’t work all of the year due to the rainy and hurricane season. Thanks for the great tour!!

Quick and easy private tour. - Quick and easy. Pickup was on time at our resort. Toll fees for toll road and tickets to the site were all covered in package price streamlining the entry. Driver was professional and vehicle well maintained and clean. Guide was thorough, informative and to the point. If you are looking for a quick, easy, no stress to the point tour of Chichen Itza this is the way to go.

Private Sunrise Tour to Chichen Itza with Arturo. - Arturo was an outstanding guide on our private sunrise express tour to Chichen Itza. We were picked up as promised a little before 6:00 am. Our driver Yosmar was professional and we felt safe in his capable hands. We arrived at 7:30 am and I asked Art to take our picture in front of the sign. He said if we didn’t do it then, it would be impossible later with the crowds and he was not wrong! I appreciate the tip as I really wanted a pic of us in front of the sign! While Art purchased our tickets we had a chance to use the restroom which was appreciated. There were just a few people in line so when they opened, we pretty much had the place to ourselves! It was an amazing site to see the Temple of Kukulcán without hoards of people! We got some great pics as well. Art was a good communicator and had a binder of visuals to help bring the stories/information to life. We visited all three of the main architectural areas based on construction styles and periods and never had issues with crowds etc. We inquired about a quick bite to eat and Art had a couple of suggestions, one being to stop along the way and try an authentic Mexican pork sandwich made fresh while we waited. We did this and were not disappointed! This private sunrise tour is the way to go! I liked being on our own schedule, not having to battle crowds and having a personal guide that was able to answer any questions we had and go at our pace. Thank you Art for making our time in Chichen Itza educational and memorable!

VIP-Style Private Chichén Itzá Tour from Tulum - We had an amazing experience with Absolute Adventure on their Chichén Itzá Private Express tour from Tulum — worth every penny. Private pickup, early entry, and a guide who knew exactly how to beat the crowds and get incredible photos made this feel truly VIP.
Total tour time was about a half day round-trip from Tulum, with roughly two hours guided inside the ruins.
From the start, their customer service stood out. The chat rep rearranged vehicles so our group of three didn’t have to pay for a four-person tour, which we really appreciated. Our driver and guide arrived a bit early, waited patiently when we ran a few minutes behind, and even stopped for coffee on the 6:30am pickup.
Arriving right before opening made all the difference — we had much of the site to ourselves. Our guide Juan was fantastic: he explained the history using visuals on his phone and printed diagrams, gave us local restaurant recommendations, and mapped a route that got us all the iconic photos before the large tour groups arrived. He even pointed us to the best vendors for fair prices.
Our driver got us there and back safely and stopped for snacks on the return since we didn’t choose the lunch option. We came away with great photos, a deeper understanding of the site, and an overall excellent experience. I would absolutely book with them again.

Perfect Option for our two families! - This was an amazing tour! We were two families with four kids ages 16,14, 9, & 7. Juan (JJ) was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgeable, great with the kids - involving and answering their questions as well as the adults. The length of time was perfect for us. Highly recommend.

Great experience, highly recommend - I loved booking with these guys. Juan and our driver (I forget his name :/ ) were awesome. We learned a lot in the tour, got pictures with no one else at the pyramids, and had a lot of fun chatting with the two of them. I definitely recommend going with these guys

Absolutely Amazing way to see Chichen Itza - We had an incredible private tour of Chichén Itzá with Josh, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Josh was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Mayan history and culture. He explained everything in a clear, fascinating way and was happy to answer all of our questions.
The private tour made the experience feel relaxed and personal, and Josh did a great job pacing the visit and helping us avoid the busiest areas when possible. We learned so much more than we ever would have on our own. If you’re visiting Chichén Itzá, I can’t recommend Josh enough, this tour was worth every penny.

Private Chichen Itza Tour with Josh - We got a tour with Josh and he was excellent. He was cordial and polite on the early morning drive from our Mayan Riviera resort to Chichen Itza, and then dialled up the energy when we got there. He was informative and well-spoken. He had visual aids on his iPad and was willing and able to answer all of our questions.

Fantastic trip to Cichen Itza, well worth the early start. - We don’t usually do guided tours but so glad we did this. The company communicated well throughout, the guide Cyril was very informative and had the right balance of professionalism and friendliness. We literally missed the crowds and were first people in.
We didn’t do the cenotes as we were staying near some so did this ourselves, but well worth an add on if you cannot do independently.
