Seller of this package is avoidable, when Viator has many other listings / options - The package we were sold on Viator was not what we were provided. Firstly we were made to pay for water at lunch, whereas it shows as included when we bought the package on Viator. Secondly the unlimited open bar included in package was not provided. We contacted the operator who agreed to refund the drinks cost we had to pay during lunch. Regarding unlimited bar, the guide had no information but extended water bottles as his own courtesy before boarding the bus at Cenote. However we had to pay for drinks at Chichen Itza where the prices are highly exorbitant. The booking company on Viator did not refund anything despite confirming on what’s app that they will refund. Moreover the consecration fees this package operator charges is higher than other packages available on Viator. The guide and overall experience was satisfactory but we don’t expect to run after the inclusions in the package if package operator doesn’t inform the bus guide properly. And despite claiming they have informed, no information was given to the guide who was standing right next to me. While the bus guide experience was satisfactory, the company who sells this package on Viator is avoidable. There are many other options available on Viator which are effectively cheaper.

We were left waiting in the hotel and we did not take the walk. - We bought the Chichen Itza tour a day ago and we waited for the guide/driver at the agreed place (our hotel). They sent an email changing the meeting point to another location around 5 a.m., but it wasn't the match. We woke up and answered the email reinforcing that the contractor was to pick us up at our hotel and we would not have time to move to another place. But they have not answered anymore, do not answer on the phone provided by TripAdvisor and do not answer whatsapp. We waited an hour at the reception and in the end no one from the agency hired came to pick us up. We lost a precious day of walking. Sorry, we request cancellation and await full refund.

They did not pick us up at the hotel because of flat tire ! - we were supposed to be picked up at our hotel at 7AM so I called them up at 7:30 only to find out that the pick up service had a FLAT TIRE. I was told to move to another hotel for pick up but the agent said he will call me back after 10 minutes. No call came and at about 8AM, I called again and the agent offered us to do the tour the day after. We could not agree because we had other activities already planned so the agent said he will cancel and give a refund. My brother and I had to hire a taxi and a local tourist guide to see Chichen Itza as this was the highlight of our going to Cancun, to see this beautiful pyramid and to know the culture behind. The cost was double ! I recommend that tour operators prepare back up pick-up service. There are so many taxis in Cancun, they could have called a taxi to pick us up at our hotel. We booked this tour by Cancun Tour Booking (sounded very reliable) because this was supposed to be VIP tour. I hope this tour operator improve their system because some people like me may not come to Cancun again. Missing Chichen Itza because of a FLAT TIRE of the hotel pick-up service ? It will be a sad story
