ATV Tulum & coba - We thoroughly enjoyed the tour to Tulum, Coba, and Playa del Carmen. We had an incredibly educational and fun day, exploring ancient Mayan ruins and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of Playa del Carmen. The cenote is beautiful.

A wonderful tour! - A great experience, especially because they teach us about the history of the Mayan civilization. They give us a tour of the site, we see the pyramids, and then they take us to a beautiful cenote. Everything is super safe and the people are very friendly. The transportation was very punctual. Overall, we had a great time!

Amazing experience to a wonder of the world!! - A highly recommended experience! Communication with Odyssey Riviera Cancun was excellent from the time of booking until the tour ended. The bus in excellent condition and the staff mastered perfectly the relevant information of all the places visited. We went to amazing places full of culture, where you can take beautiful photos. As if that weren't enough, the food they gave us was spectacular!

Great Tour! - Such a great tour! Chichén Itzá is absolutely amazing, but don’t forget to bring a hat or cap for the sun and wear comfy shoes or sneakers for all the walking. Valladolid is so colorful, with plenty of spots to eat right by the church, and trying a marquesita in the park is a must. The cenotes are breathtaking and the perfect way to cool off!

Awesome Tour - This tour was fantastic! Chichen Itza was awe-inspiring, and the guide shared fascinating history about the ancient Maya. Then we visited Valladolid, a charming colonial town where we had some time to explore. The highlight was swimming in the cenotes—the water was crystal clear and so refreshing. It was a perfect mix of culture, history, and relaxation. Highly recommend it!

Long and confusing day - Pros: -Chichen Itza is incredible! So was our guide at the site -a good value for the length of the trip -Maya community was cool - if a bit of a money grab Cons: - This is advertised as a 5 hour trip. It is a 15 hour trip, most of which is spent stuffed in a bus with very little AC (think airplane seats). - Our bus seemed to be mostly Spanish speaking, so not everything got all the way translated so we were very confused most of the day We came from Cozumel on the ferry and almost missed the van coming in and missed the last ferry of the night (10p) and had to stay in Playa del Carmen. Would not recommend if you are staying in Coz.

Pass!! Let me save your vacation time! - Do not go on this tour with this company. Notice how the reviews are for different tours and activities? Because they keep switching things around to get too many negative reviews on one tour. I could write a book on how terrible this tour was, but I'll keep it brief: - First stop was a racket, fraudulent activity on my credit card for both stores, Cooperative Maya, and Cafeteria Chokocoffee. 3 popsicles turned into a $101 charge. even more at Cooperative Maya for a few Cokes and water. They "blessed" us and then tried to sell us a "blessed" statue for several hundred dollars. Then they shuffled our different groups like cattle through different parts of the property to try to sell us more stuff, and then we could finally eat. We couldn't drink our Coke that we had just bought 50 ft away, same place, we had to buy something from the bar. Then some nice dancers came out for a dance and immediately asked for cash after. Everywhere you turn, you are asked for money: horoscopes, drawings of your name, etc. It was nothing about learning about the Mayan culture. I guess that part would have been fine if it were thirty minutes, but it was in the middle of nowhere and several hours. By the time we got to Chichen Itza (which was cool, just go see it with a different co) and finished there, it was already 10 hours into this trip, with two more stops. The guide, Jimmy, said we wouldn't be back for another 6ish hours! That was never disclosed to us that it was a 16-hour trip, and that doesn't include getting back and then getting on another bus to get back to our hotel. Since Chichen Itza is about 2.5 hours away from Cancun, we finally ditched the tour and rented an expensive cab back to Cancun. We were only in Cancun for 5 days and didn't want to waste any more time. I reached out and told them about our experience and Carlos said he's never had a complaint about this tour and belittled our experience. We had chatted with several different families, and they felt it was a cash grab also. Also, if you're going to charge everyone a tax, just state on TripAdvisor that this is a deposit. It's false advertising to state that the fee is only $26, but then charge everyone $50 when you arrive. Was that in the listing? Yes I knew about it beforehand, but it should have been the first red flag that I ended up ignoring. They do this to skip paying TripAdvisor its portion. There are so many other tours that had a ton of great reviews- next time we will go with one of them.
