Super interesting - We came on a trip to Mexico, and it was of course unthinkable not to visit Chichén Itzá.
This historic site is simply magnificent, full of history and a unique atmosphere.
I strongly recommend that you take a guide or watch documentaries before your visit in order to better understand the place, your experience will be all the more enriching.
The only downside is the many vendors who solicit you throughout the tour, which can sometimes be a bit heavy.
Small advice: come early in the morning to avoid the crowds and especially the strong heat, to enjoy the site to the fullest.

Gracias Enrique! - Great visit with Enrique our French guide settled for more than 30 years in Mexico (agency Secretoo). We spent 3 days with him (Chichen Itza, Tulum, Cenotes, Coba, etc) and it was really great to exchange and discover this beautiful country with him. We never felt rushed and he adapted the program to our desires. A very nice meeting!

Thank you to Jesus for this adventure through time - We booked this activity by Secretoo which is a really great site (we went through them for 4 top activities!) They only take exceptional guides! For this one we had Jesus who carried us through history with passion. It was really great again thanks to him!

Extraordinary experience - Exceptional guide. Our guide Jesus gives an incredible dimension to this chichen itza discovery. He immersed us in Mayan culture. We loved it. That was great. I recommend without hesitation passing through Secretoo. This guide is great

Brilliant and Interesting Trip to Chichen Itza - We booked a private tour guide which I would recommened and we were also there at opening which I would also recommened as you miss the midday heat and crowds. The walk from the car park to Chichen Itza is quite long but also nice and Scenic. The first view of Chichen Itza was breathtaking it was an absolute picture perfect image. Our tour guide knew all the best photo spots . I would really encourage you to go and explore

SHAMEFUL THE USE!!! 😞😞😞 - It was the third time I went and I have been disappointed, they have invented an access to the complex that looks like a PRISON, and everything is full of stalls selling souvenirs, which detracts from the beauty and importance of the complex, seems a market, DISAPPOINTING, to be one of the wonders of the world!!!

New Wonder of the World - Really? - Considering this is one of the modern wonders of the world… wow, what a disappointment.
The main problem is how it’s used for a cash grab. I’ve been to Mayan sites in Belize and Guatemala - they are far more impressive and enjoyable to visit.
The area you can get to is small, the price to get in is expensive and you are harassed constantly by vendors so loud you cannot hear your tour guide tell you the interesting facts about the place
My advise? Avoid and visit Tikal instead. Chicken’s celebrity status has taken all the awe out of the place. It knows people will always want to visit a wonder of the world - and Mexico has ensured it will extort you of every peso you have to do so
