Stunning ancient wonder - Visiting Chichen Itza was an unforgettable experience. The magnitude and precision of the pyramid and surrounding constructions are impressive, and touring the site brings Mayan history to life. The guided tour helped us understand the cultural and astronomical importance of the buildings, which made the visit even more significant. It can be quite busy, but arriving early in the morning allows you to enjoy it better. A must if you visit the Yucatan Peninsula, truly one of the New Seven Wonders of the World!

Knowing Merida - Definitely spectacular, I just wish I could have been there longer, sometimes going out on tours is not the best option, because they limit a lot of time in the places to visit.

Unforgettable! - Our excursion to Chichen itza booked with Secretoo went wonderfully well, José is a passionate guide who introduced us to Maya history, and many other things. Our 6 year old son loved the family meal and the swimming in the cenote which was sublime and really untouristy. We were almost alone. It was awesome! Thank you again José and great continuation! Best tour guide Saul with Sharp World a wealth of information and such passion! - Our group of 5 ladies in our early 60s booked with Sharp World. We cannot say enough about or guide Saul. He was so passionate about his job and the history of the Mayans and Chichen Itza. Our driver Carlos was exceptional. Saul knew a jewelry smith who was able to make our necklaces with our names in Mayan while we toured the site. We skipped the cenotes and instead choice to visit Vallidolid instead. As this was a private tour, Saul was very accommodating. The only criticisms: No water was offered on the bus, and it was a 3 hour journey each way. We brought our own water, but would be nice to have iced water on the bus. Also, the person who set up the tour should have told us to bring umbrellas (the resort provided these for free). Ask for Saul and Carlos if you book with Sharp.

A must see if in the vicinity. - We booked via Equinox through our hotel in Cancun. Initially, when reading reviews, I was concerned with the thought of being besiged by vendors after a 3 hour journey. But we were encouraged by friends who had visited the year previously. We were collected at a reasonable time (8 am) and transported by air con coach to the site. As it was skip the line, we were soon in front of all the impressive archaeology. The tour guide (Calos Moo) was very informative, and more importantly, the vendors pretty much left you alone. We spent a couple of hours there, and considering the heat, this was long enough. The tour continued on to a cenote (and underground natural pool). This i found a little unnerving as I am not a great swimmer, and you were encouraged to jump in from height. Life jackets were mandatory, and I now understand why. I was glad of the experience but personally wouldn't want to repeat the jump or swim. Lunch was provided in an intentional venue, and you were prompted to purchase local Mayan crafts. Overall, I would recommend it, but it makes for a long, tiring day as we were out of the hotel for over 13 hours.

Long travel time and little time from Chichen Itza - We close all the tours with Soy Cancun Brazil, but those who do the tours are local companies and guides. A tip is that we stayed for a few days in Playa del Carmen because it is closer to various places of interest and cheaper. But Chichen Itza is far away anyway... The tours were all very punctual. Due to the distance, we made a quick stop in a small town, on the way, called Valladolid, basically to use the bathroom and buy a snack (it was when I discovered that Mexican empanadas are different from Argentine empanadas... Back on the bus, our guide was from Maia origin and gave some interesting information during the looooonga trip, but still, missed a lot of information! What is sold is that we have 2h in Chichen Itza. 1h with the guide, which will give more information and 1h free to explore and take photos. Well... that day was somewhat cloudy and still the thermal feeling was 45 degrees in that place. I was in UV blouse and hat, but I suffered a bit. After all, within these 2 hours you had the time for the bathroom, immediately upon arrival, the delivery of the ticket, the access, the endless explanations, remaining about 30 minutes free to take a photo OR explore or look at the tables and still do the whole route back and find our bus. In the end, there was still a ventilation and it started to rain... It was the worst day (in terms of weather and walk) All very running! Long travel time and little to take advantage of the place. From there we went to a cenote. It was very beautiful, but due to the bad weather I chose not to take a bath, I just really liked it. I think it's worth driving to Chichen Itza, for whoever can, and hire a guide there. I believe that this possibility exists. Hence the Cover doesn't get stuck to the agency's schedule. The place is very interesting and the history as well.

False advertising-BEWARE! - We booked this tour online and scheduled pickup at our room to be at the pick-up location early for the tour. When our shuttle wasn't there on time, I sent a message to the bus driver that we were on our way. The paperwork says that they will wait for 10 minutes and then leave. We arrived at the pick up location 6 minutes late, and they had left a few minutes prior. Then, the driver tried to justify leaving by sending me a picture in front of our hotel at 2 minutes past the pick up time. They said they had to move, however the gate guard at our hotel had told him to enter the property, and he would not. We called, and tried to get ahold of someone, but no one answers. Very unprofessional. That evening, I was sent a message that there are no refunds. What a hoax, and very unprofessional, to say the least. We were late, and only 6 minutes, due to no fault of our own, and the company was not willing to offer a tour the next day, either. I would NOT recommend this company at all...Beware of scams like this!
