Cucao - This hiking adventure takes participants 52 kilometers southwest of Castro to the buffer zone of Chiloé National Park. The journey passes through the stunning Rahue beach and reaches the Pirulil sector, known for its rugged terrain due to its exposure to the Pacific Ocean. From this point, the hike begins through groves, dunes, and areas with wild horses. After 7 kilometers of trekking through endemic nature, the breathtaking Tricolor Beach comes into view, notable for its sand, forest, and sea. During this activity, participants will also have the opportunity to see and appreciate the “Pier of Time,” an artistic creation in a natural setting by a famous Chilean sculptor.

This hike will take participants 52 kilometers southwest of Castro, leading to the buffer zone of Chiloé National Park. The journey includes a visit to the stunning Rahue Beach and continues to the Pirulil sector, known for its rugged terrain due to its exposure to the Pacific Ocean. From this point, the hike will proceed through groves, dunes, and areas where wild horses roam. After a 7-kilometer trek through this unique environment, hikers will arrive at the magnificent Tricolor Beach, renowned for its sand, forest, and sea. During this adventure, participants will also have the opportunity to admire the “Pier of Time,” an artistic installation in a natural setting by a famous Chilean sculptor.
