I used this tour company... - I used this tour company for all of my tours on Rapa Nui. I highly recommend this tour as well as their other full day tour to basically see everything there is on the island. The pickup from the hotel was awesome, and Franco and Bai did a good job at pointing out some local history which was necessary to understand what we were seeing. Highly recommend! The tour company was also amazing with communication via whatsapp and flexible to book even less than 24 hours in advance!

Great Day Trip - Eva our tour guide was extremely impressive with her knowledge of the island. She is very proud of her traditions and heritage and this makes the trip even more memorable. Well done tour!!

Just worry about enjoying yourself. - With my family we decided to tour the island in one day and this allowed us to get to know the main places in a comfortable and good time. As a mom, it is grateful that everything is coordinated and that one only has to worry about enjoying.

Rapa Nui tour in a very complete day - We did the Rapa Nui tour in one day with Hotumatur Rapa Nui and it was a very good experience. The tour was well organized, the times were met correctly and the guide delivered interesting information throughout the tour. It was an excellent way to get to know several important points of the island in a comfortable and orderly way. Fully recommended.

A great way to see and experience the marvels of Rapa Nui - We were visiting Easter Island via cruise ship so we only had a day to experience the mysteries of the island. To visit the moai has been a bucket list item for me. The boys from Hotumatur Rapa Nui tours did not disappoint. The itinerary was a great selection of the sites and they knew their history and culture. It was a terrific day out and I thoroughly recommend them.

Not what I expected - This is not a tour that takes you to see the main sites on the Island. This is a typical second day tour. It does not last a full day 10 to 3....basically. After this tour we booked a tour locally to see the main sites. This starts with a trip through a cave which is wet and slippery...not a problem for us but we expected to see the Moai's. Since you have to have a guide, we had to book a second tour...the guide was good....I consider this a 1/2 day tour.

Wonderful sightseeing - The guide seemed hurry and push the time at every sites. She did not give us a lunch break. The whole tour ended at 2:40 pm without a notice and “good-bye”. It is good to give us the information, but she exchanged the English and Spanish pieces by pieces , making some difficult to understand.

Great sights, lackluster guide. - It took quite a while to get going. We had to wait for several people. That was understandable, but we felt the guide could have kept us better informed. He also arrived later than we were told, which made it difficult to find him. The entire tour, we felt he was unhelpful and not very enthusiastic or engaged. He did not keep us informed of the next stop or how long it would take to get there. He was not involved in getting people organized for lunch or making sure people’s orders were taken or help people to pay quickly so we didn’t finish that stop on time. The tour ran over by about 2 hours, and then he was pushing us to go to one more stop when there were now concerns about returning to the ship on time. No one wanted to risk being late. He felt getting on the last tender would be fine. The group did not agree. His helper was great. He deserves 5 stars.
