Upon arrival, the tour will commence with a view of the port and the vibrant boats at Muelle Prat. The journey will continue to Plaza Sotomayor, followed by a ride on traditional funiculars up the hills for breathtaking views, exploring Cerro Concepción and Cerro Alegre.
Stroll through lively streets adorned with street art, colonial architecture, and local culture. Discover the influences of immigrants at Paseo Yugoslavo and Pasaje Bavestrello, and savor a local alfajor. Visit iconic sites such as the colorful staircases featuring Calle 13’s “Latinoamérica” lyrics, Pasaje Gálvez, and Paseo Atkinson, which highlight British heritage. See Restaurante Brighton, Pasaje Pastor Theodor Schmidt, the Lutheran Church, and Hotel Manoir Atkinson. Be sure not to miss the Piano Staircase and St. Paul’s Anglican Cathedral. Vina del Mar - Following Valparaíso, the group will proceed to Viña del Mar, renowned for hosting the annual International Music Festival at Quinta Vergara. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the coast and beach, with opportunities for lunch and ocean views.
The tour will include visits to iconic landmarks such as the Flower Clock, Wulff Castle, Rioja Palace, Municipal Casino, Carrasco Palace, and Quinta Vergara Park, the venue for the Viña del Mar Music Festival. Explore beautiful house-museums, castles, and other points of interest.
Remember to partake in the tradition of dipping your feet in the Pacific Ocean if desired.
