A really good day - The whole tour was extremely well organized. In a longer speech during the two-hour bus ride, we were instructed in very understandable English for the way to the wall, on the wall and the way back. On the wall itself I had booked the 5 km hiking trip, which starts at tower 14 until tower 20 goes (very steep). Here, the mix of reasonable speed, history information and breaks for photography was just right. The hike then descends to Tower 4, from where you walk back to the mountain station at Tower 6, to take the summer toboggan run (long wait) or the chairlift down. At the base station, an attractive all-you-can-eat buffet awaits you in the Mubus Familiy building for a small fee of about 10 €. Around 3:00 pm, all travelers gather at the building to walk back to the bus together. Overall, the Mubus team is really very friendly and accommodating. What is extremely positive is that nothing is ever talked about. Yes, you can buy small souvenirs from Mubus (at reasonable prices and attractively designed), but nothing happens with sales pressure.

- I really enjoyed my private walking tour of the Summer Palace with Bonnie. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the experience incredibly enjoyable from start to finish.
As it was just me on the tour, Bonnie tailored the pace perfectly, took the time to explain the history and stories behind each part of the palace, and answered all my questions with real insight. One of the highlights was walking by the Lake — Bonnie shared the history and symbolism behind the lake and its surroundings, which made the views even more special. She also made sure I had plenty of time to take in the scenery and capture photos without feeling rushed.
It was a peaceful, informative, and memorable experience. I’d highly recommend this tour — and especially Bonnie — to anyone looking to explore the Summer Palace with a guide who’s both passionate and professional

Awesome tour! Would recommend - Bonnie is an awesome tour guide. She’s a great storyteller and super knowledgeable! She answered all my questions and took photos for me, as well as made extra time for the specific sites I wanted to see! Would definitely recommend :)

First of all he made sure to provide all details for the tour, including the Meetup point. And he did this one week before the tour, and then another reminder a few days before the tour.
On the day of the tour, he patiently waited for us to arrive.
Sean is one of the best guides we've had. He shared with a lot of information about the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven, including architecture, politics, and history. He made sure we had timely breaks.
Overall a great experience with Sean!

The immense Summer Palace - The site is definitely worth seeing! A very pleasant place. My guide Bonnie has been knowledgeable and available for questions. We spent some three nice afternoon hours together among these amenities

Unfortunately, the incessant rain drenched away what would have been enjoyable historical tours - Did the full-day Temple of Heaven & Summer Palace tours. Would have given a higher rating if not for the rain persisting to come down from start to end.
