One of a kind experience— small and personal - Yoel maintains a fantastic space to both stay and then explore the sacred valley. Waking up at the domes and then starting a tour with Sky Domes Peru was a fantastic way to experience the Sacred Valley and Chinchero.

Unforgettable Experience: Alpacas and the Sacred Valley - Wow! This tour was awesome! We wish we could give more than 5 stars. If you want to support a local Quechuan family instead of a big tour operator, then this is the tour to pick. Yoel and his wife, Cidelia, were so kind! We stayed in one of their Sky Domes for two nights and also did this tour with them. The alpacas and llamas were so cute and friendly. We would absolutely recommend them for a tour or a place to stay!

Become one with the Sacred Valley - Sky Dome is an experience to be had in Peru. The tour through the sacred valley was tailored to our wishes including pick-up from another accommodation. The accommodation itself is pure glamping. Especially out of season it can get fresh in the private cabin. But: There are enough blankets available, there is a hot water bottle and the bed is super cozy. The view of the stars and the valley is unique. If you are not doing so well due to the altitude, everyone is very understanding and you are well taken care of. The local cuisine is also excellent!

Stars, Sunsets & Glamping at Sky Dome Peru – thank you Cidelia & Yoel! - We stayed two nights at Sky Dome Peru, and it was truly unforgettable. The stars at night through the Sky Dome are breathtaking, only matched by the incredible sunsets. Over the course of three days & two nights, we tried the Maras Salt Mines–Moray–Chinchero and the Alpaca Walk. A definite must do if you drop by, the tours were incredible. The animals are gentle, have distinct personalities, and are clearly loved. Every meal we had was different and delicious, made with care. Yoel and Cidelia are the kind of hosts who make you feel instantly at home. Their warmth and hospitality are unmatched, and it’s clear they pour their hearts into every part of the experience. Yoel, an incredibly experienced Inca Trail guide with more than 490 expeditions under his belt, gave us great advice and insights that made us even more excited for our own trek. We stayed here specifically to acclimate before the Inca Trail, since the altitude is higher than the second night’s camp site — and it worked perfectly. This was hands down the best family-run, bed-and-breakfast–style Glamping we’ve ever stayed at — authentic, peaceful, and full of life. Between the incredible food, the breathtaking views, the daily excursions, the hot water bottles at night, and the personal touches from Yoel and Cidelia, Sky Dome Peru is a rare find. The twins were a joy to watch, and their eldest loves to play Uno — she’s a ringer for sure.

Best domes ever - An amazing place with amazing hosts. We did the tour of Maras Salt Mines and Moray, amongst other fun activities! The property is absolutely stunning. Yoel and Cidelia are the most gracious hosts. Extra thank you to Inti the alpaca and the other llamas and alpacas. Amazing food and hospitality. Thank you so much and we will be back!

Skydome was the highlight of our trip! - Joel was such a generous host. He took us around Chinchero, ollantaytambo, Maras and Moray and explained the historical significance of the place. He was raised in a town nearby and provided us unique insights during the tour. We appreciate his warm hospitality and would definitely highly recommend him!

- From the moment we arrived at Sky Dome Peru, we felt so welcomed and cared for. We were greeted with coca tea and instantly felt at home. We did the alpaca walk, alpaca picnic, and the Maras & Moray Salt Mines tour — all of which were flexible, personal, and unforgettable. The food here was some of the best we’ve had in Peru. Even though breakfast was included, we chose to eat all our meals on-site — everything from the papa rellena to the quinoa dish and pollo sopa was delicious and made with care. The domes are cozy and unique, and while there’s no heating, they provide warm water bags that kept us comfortable all night. The mountain views are unreal — waking up to that scenery was magical. Yoel, who led many of our tours, was an amazing guide and storyteller. The staff and owners are incredibly kind and made us feel like family. This place is truly special and one-of-a-kind. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Peru.
