The Assateague Explorer captain and the crew will meet you at farthest left side of the harbor at dock #3. After you enter the harbor, stay left, past the restrooms/harbor master building, and go to the very end of the road. Look for the dock #3 sign and the "Assateague Explorer" sign.

Boozing with my besties! - If you want to know about the wild horses and see the sunset book with Captain Shane. He is very knowledgeable and he may even let you be the 1st mate on the tour. We saw so many horses and different kinds of birds. It was a beautiful night on the water and to top the evening off was the sunset. We would definitely book again with Captain Shane.

It was a chill boat tour,... - It was a chill boat tour, great sightseeing. The captain is knowledgeable about the island. We got to see the ponies from a far.

Once in a lifetime! - This is such a beautiful cruise - watching the sun set over the island and seeing all the wildlife. We are definitely going back in July for the famous Pony Swim. It's been a childhood dream of mine!
Capt. Mark and Capt. Shane are just so wonderful and helpful!
Can't wait to do it all again!

Ponies and Sunset - We had a wonderful experience on the sunset cruise. We saw ponies on the shore and a beautiful sunset. It got a little chilly as the sun went down but we were bundled up and I brought a small blanket.

Beautiful sunset - The sunset was beautiful and I got to see a few horses. It was around 90 minutes long. The boat wasn't crowded.

Fun for the whole family. - Captain lefty was great! It was a bit chilly but we saw a bald eagle and some ponies, a bit of a distance away. Captain Lefty kept us entertained with his stories, worth the ride even if you don’t see what you hoped for.

Captain Shane gave a... - Captain Shane gave a great tour. We loved the experience. We saw several ponies and bald eagles. I highly recommend the tour if you want to sea the wildlife.

Cool overall - It was cool, we couldn’t see many animals which is why we went but we still had fun. Very chilly though. The tour guide was cool.
