Give it a go !! - Brian, our guide was a well crafted person and been in the community for a good number of years. He knew where to position us to get the best experience. Thank you so much !

Highly recommend - Brian was amazing! He was super friendly and full of information. Because me and friend have done this before, he allowed us to go a little ahead which is nice to not have to hang back. I don’t do well in big crowds and being to go ahead a bit helped make it much more enjoyable.

Amazing ! - I had an amazing experience ! Our guide, Jennifer is super knowledgeable and very nice. She brought us close to the wild ponies ( and that was my absolute dream as a horse girl :) ). She had a difficult task to play it well with the weather ( there was a thunderstorm coming ) and we got out of the kayaks right on time when it started raining ( after having a full kayaking tour and seeing so many animals). It was pretty magical cause when we finished the trip, there was a double rainbow on the sky ( documented at the pic ). I had so much fun and will definitely recommend this to everyone I know !

Kayak review - Se saw so many ponies up close! They crossed the water right in front of us! Also found a hermit crab and conch like shells still alive. Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and did a great job including pony rules

Waste of time & money - We scheduled the Sunset Tour and was changed rather late due to weather. We were moved to the 8:30 am tour, and we literally saw nothing. Additionally, we were offered a double person Kayak and then got bumped when others that arrived later wouldn't ride singles. A giant waste of money. The tour guide wasn't informative. There wasn't a lot of history of knowledge shared, and if he spoke, it wasn't the easiest to hear/understand. They also push tips excessively.

Nope. - Would not recommend this company. Our guide, Tom, arrived with fewer kayaks than we needed and life vest that were definitely not Coast Guard regulation fit for kids. It was incredibly windy and we fought the entire time to get anywhere. He sent my husband and me ahead to look for openings in the tall grass and said over and over that it wasn't his fault, the terrain had changed and so he didn't know the path anymore. Spoiler alert - there were no openings so we ended up fighting against the wind just to end up dead end after dead end and have to turn around. We were with another family and he offered no help when they were clearly struggling until we told him that he should go and tow them in. In the end, we were glad there weren't enough single boats as our slight 12 year old, had he not shared the boat with his dad, would have been in a really dangerous situation. Ultimately, we did NOT feel we were in good hands and this could have turned into something very serious. Also, no ponies because we couldn't get anywhere near them. Somehow we still felt we needed to tip which we kind of regret. Find another company. Really.

Find a different company - Don’t book with this company. We did the combo Sunset cruise 5/24 and kayak tour 5/25 for about $250 couple. Sunset cruise we saw only birds- the boat does not get close enough to see the ponies. Book a smaller pontoon boat tour company. Jenny is knowledgeable about birds but it’s hard to hear here she needs a microphone. No dolphins, no ponies just birds. Next day did the Kayak tour which even on the Sunset cruise they were pushing if you want to see ponies. Kayak tour was awful- Tom is a confused older man that states he was in a car accident and can’t remember anything. At the meeting spot he changes where are going to launch from and has us all drive up to Snug Harbor now we have stand around at 1:45 while he unloads all the kayaks and paddles and life jackets. He’s ask g the men for help. He helps no one get into the water - no instructions on how to kayak. The people using the singles cannot keep up and we are waiting for them the whole trip. Tom basically just paddles out there says barely anything and never says where we are going. No instruction when the boats go by and people are getting soaked who have never kayaked before. No ponies. Just a float around. This is not a tour. Would have been better to rent kayaks on our own and go out. Book another company. We were back at dock by 3:30. No make up for the time lost of him using follow him to Snug Harbor and then waiting while he unloaded everything. Use a different company as both trips were a bust.

Frustrating kayak tour - Recommend find another tour company. We went on a kayak tour to supposedly see horses up close. After an hour of paddling we finally saw some at least a half mile away still. Even though the guide apparently had a bad accident recently that's impaired his function, this company still sends him out alone on kayak tours. He's a nice guy, but couldn't really guide a tour- no safety briefing, a bit confused about the best place to see ponies, didn't really seem aware of changes to the weather, didn't seem to be able to work his phone beyond minimal communication. He mostly told slightly strange or off-topic stories and provided minimal info on wildlife. He was also almost completely deaf so when we asked questions he didn't hear most of them. We could tell he's an experienced local that knows the area and history well, but it's irresponsible to let him guide tours alone. He said his boss was in Hawaii so there wasn't any office I guess. Thankfully we were experienced kayakers so made it back to the launch dock paddling hard 30 min in a very stiff wind, but a family or less experienced kayakers might have been blown far downwind, with the guide paddling hard back to the dock all by himself. The kayaks, paddles and life vests were in OK condition and the scenery paddling in the marsh area was fairly interesting.

Hard kayaking. No ponies - Windy, lots of waves, hard kayaking, no ponies. Would not do again. Went with two small children. And they were disappointed.

Not worth the money. Miserable for kids. - Terrible experience. It was way too windy and there were ZERO ponies around. My kids struggled and absolutely hated it. The guide wasn't very friendly, and at one point left our kayak struggling and continued on with the rest of the group.
