Great trip - Fabulous trip great company and a really awesome experience with the turtles. Super friendly and helpful staff from the moment we arrived. Knowledgeable crew with superb snorkelling. Really recommend this tour.

Wonderful trip - do it! - A truly special experience. Small group of 12 with Cass our lovely snorkel guide. We saw Green Sea Turtles, many beautiful fish and as an added a bonus, a Manta Ray came to say hello and have a swim around. Magical!

Epic adventure - An absolutely epic adventure. Can’t recommend it enough. This is a great experience for people of all ages. Expert guides, excellent equipment and the undoubtedly one of the best experiences on the Gold Coast/ Tweed area. Only a 30 minute drive from the Gold Coast.

Magical swim with turtles - The most amazing morning! Our guide was superb - informative and clearly passionate about her job and about ensuring we had a great experience. Super informative and taught us about the different species we were seeing. As someone who isn’t a confident swimmer, I felt safe and supported and confident in the water. We saw so many turtles in their natural environment, as well as other sea creatures - it was spectacular!! The footage we received captures our experience perfectly! Hands down the BEST experience. Magical!

Fab! - We had such a great trip, We saw turtles, wobbegongs, amazing fish and a whale swam past us as we were snorkelling. The staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. We can't wait to do this trip again! Highly recommend Cooly Eco Adventures.

Great service - Excellent service from the crew. Captain Lachy and Gemma as well. Unfortunately, the visibility was poor due to all the recent weather events but the crew were so professional in giving us options and keeping us informed. We got all the way out to the island and saw some turtles from the boat and we are looking forward to snorkelling with them sometime in the future. Mother nature will do her thing. However this crew can’t be faulted. Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you guys soon. Absolute legends.

Lots of turtles and dolphins! - Fantastic experience, friendly crew and lots of turtles and dolphins! We had a great time as a family with two pre-teens. The option to purchase photos were good too as we weren’t able to take cameras underwater. Thanks guys!

Turtle Snorkelling Rocks!! - This was one of my favourite days in Australia. The boat ride itself was definitely worth the price of the ticket! The turtles did not disappoint either. As long as you remain calm, the turtles will come up out of curiosity. As the operator states in his debriefing “Do Not” harass or grab the turtles otherwise they will speed away whenever they see people in the water. The attached photo is from a video that I shot with an iPhone. I was privileged to have a couple of the turtles swim right underneath me. I resisted touching them and only admired them during this fabulous experience.! The tour operator runs a safety conscious tour providing life jackets for the boat and wetsuits for comfort and protection. For those who feel a bit hesitant about snorkelling they have pool noodles on board for extra buoyancy. There is a safety person in the water with you at all times to ensure your comfort and to aid you if you need help. Remember the ocean isn’t an aquarium and the visibility will change with tide changes and weather conditions. Even on a cloudy day with slightly reduced visibility we saw many turtles. The operator is a wealth of knowledge about the the turtles and their habits. Unfortunately certain species of sea turtles are endangered so seeing them in their natural environment is an amazing experience. And the cherry on top was the amazing dolphin sighting! We floated alongside the dolphins in the boat watching them feed and swim.

Canceled the tour 1 hour before start time. - The tour was pushed back a couple hours from the original start time the day before. I traveled from Brisbane for this snorkeling adventure and an hour before the tour started it got canceled. My group had already spent a significant amount of money to make the trip to the beach and we were basically stranded at the drop off location. There was no attempt to make things right by the company, not even an apology for the inconvenience and wasted money. If we had been told there is a high chance of the excursion being cancelled when the times was changed the day prior it would have at least given us a heads up that we would be out hundreds of dollars ahead of time. This was simply failed communication by the company without accountability.
