An honor, a privilege, and an experience I will never forget. - There are trips you take, and then there are trips that humble you. Beauty Way Jeep Tours in Chinle, AZ is the latter. Riding through the open air in a safari-style jeep, surrounded by scenery so breathtaking it barely feels real, I found myself genuinely awestruck — the kind of awe that silences you and makes you simply look.
Our guide Leander was exceptional. His dedication to his craft and to his guests was evident in every detail — and the thoughtful touch of providing blankets for the open-air ride spoke volumes about the level of care he brings to the experience. While we were deep in the canyon, we had the lovely surprise of crossing paths with his daughter, who was out guiding her own group. Witnessing that — a family sharing this land and this calling together — added a layer of warmth and authenticity to the experience that I didn’t expect and won’t forget.
But what moved me most was the deeper gift of this tour: the opportunity to be welcomed onto this land, to hear the stories, to be trusted with the culture and history of this place. That is not something I take lightly. To the team at Beauty Way Jeep — thank you. Thank you for sharing your land, your knowledge, and your spirit with visitors like us. It is a privilege we do not take for granted, and an experience we will carry with us long after the red dust has settled.
If you find yourself near Canyon de Chelly, do not hesitate. Go. And go with gratitude.

Must do while you’re here!! - This was quite an extraordinary trip. We were picked up from our hotel, given the layout of what we can expect on the trip, and driven into the canyon. The tour was filled with a ton of history about the Navajo culture, wildlife, and way of living. We stopped at a few sites with petroglyphs and learned what they meant, saw cliff dwellings and saw some breathtaking landscape. Very glad we went and would definitely recommend!!

Best tour of a spectacular place possible to have. Don't miss it! - We had a private tour with Emily, whose family lives and has lived in Canyon De Chelly. This was the best tour of a spectacular place! She was personable, knowledgeable and friendly

A highlight of our Arizona trip! - Our guide Emily was incredible! Born and raised in the canyon, she has a deep affection and connection to Canyon de Chelly and her Navajo traditions. She showed us the wonderful ruins, petroglyphs, and pictographs and helped us understand their history and meaning. She also told us stories of growing up in the canyon with her close-knit family, answering all our questions with sensitivity and thoughtfulness. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and recommend Beauty Way Jeep Tours highly!

Beauty Way Does A Beautiful Tour! - We loved our tour with Beauty Way. All of their drivers grew up at and still have family summer homes within the Canyon de Chelly. This makes such a difference with the level of knowledge and all the memories that were shared during the trip. We had the option to extend our tour an extra hour, which we were glad we did. Arica Charley was our guide, and she was fabulous. We toured areas of both the southern and northern canyon, learned history and Navajo culture, had detailed geological and agricultural information, heard first-hand what it was like to live in the canyon, and visited her mother’s home and were served the most delicious fry bread. The day was a terrific experience that we will cherish.

Beautifully done tour! - This was an incredible tour. Highly recommend this experience. The vehicle was comfortable, safe and expertly handled by Leander. Definitely worth the cost. The only thing I would've changed would have been to take a longer tour. There is so much to see and it was presented so very well! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place!!

Best choice for a Guided Tour of Canyon De Chelly! - I give Beauty Way Jeep Tours my highest recommendation! Leander was an amazing guide. We so appreciated his deep level of knowledge on the canyon, his sharing of Navajo culture, his openness to answering all our questions, and his ability to adapt the tour to our interests. The 3 hours went by so quickly. Everyone associated with this company was so pleasant to deal with and the vehicle was very comfortable. Thanks for a memorable experience!

Highly recommend this Navajo Family owned tour - The knowledge of our guide was excellent. His navajo heritage and experiences of growing up going through the canyon with his grandfather made our experience much more personable.
This is truly a Navajo family owned company
Well worth the money!

Canyon De Chelly, a hidden gem in the state of Arizona! - Our tour with Beauty Way was excellent in all aspects. I lived in Arizona for many years and yet never visited Canyon De Chelly. I now claim the canyon to be a hidden gem in the state.
Our guide was Leander, a native Navajo. His grandparents lived in the canyon. Therefore, he spent many summers with them. He shared geological information, plant and animal facts, Navajo history and stories, as well as present day Navajo life. He was open to all questions given to him...and he knew ALL the answers. Because he has traveled worldwide, he is knowledgeable about how Navajo stories integrate into American history and world history. I cannot imagine a better guide to lead you and your traveling companions into the canyon.
Beauty Way tours was the first company to lead tours into the canyon. I cannot imagine another company or guide being better than Leander!

Just do it, don’t think twice! - This tour was beyond amazing, our guide Arianna and Autumn gave us a whole new perspective of Canyon De Chelly. We went on the Del-Muerto side and it was absolutely beautiful. They gave us an option to hike a little bit on the Bear Trail. You also get to see the Antelope section and get to see their families jewelry work! Fry bread and coffee is available too!
Theres a lot of history in this place, this is one you definitely wanna come back to and plan multiple trips. Highly recommend it, don’t hesitate on booking with them!! Thank you Arianna and Autumn had such an awesome time, we will be back for the camping next!
