Wonderful hosts, highly recommended - it was a nice, entertaining trip to a small mountain village. The hosts were extremely friendly, the ambience beautifully homely. We have learned not only how to make typical Canarian mojo, but also a lot from the life of the Canaries.

Superb cooking experience - We had an amazing exerience. The class gave great insights into the nuances of Canary cousine but also provided useful hints for cooking in general. It was all seasoned with exciting story-telling about the islands’ nature, culture and history. The class was held in the cosy home of our wonderful hosts and tutors Ave and Herkki, this made the event even more enjoyable. We will be back for the paella class, for sure! Tiina and Sirje

Must do experience! - It exceeded all our expectations. Ave and Eric were incredibly friendly and shared an impressive depth of knowledge about Canarian culture and history. The mojo sauces and tapas were absolutely delicious, truly the best we’ve had in Tenerife. It was the perfect birthday gift and an experience we couldn’t have chosen better. Highly recommended.

Mojo making with local insight and great hospitality! - Eric is extremely knowledgeable and generous with his local insights. The setup is ideal for learning how to make mojo, particularly for couples, with both green and red mojo prepared so you each create your own version. These are then enjoyed with traditional Canarian potatoes and drinks. Tapas followed as a welcome extra, alongside more fascinating stories about the island and the artefacts displayed in the dining room. The experience finished with a lovely parting gift, a recipe book so you can recreate the mojo at home.
