Journey to the Colca Canyon
Chivay - At 7:00 am, guests are picked up from the hotel and depart from Arequipa to the Colca Canyon.

Journey to the Colca Canyon
Chivay - At 7:00 am, guests are picked up from the hotel and depart from Arequipa to the Colca Canyon.
The journey begins on the paved road towards Yura, passing through Pampa de Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas. Along the way, travelers can observe the diverse South American camelids such as vicuñas, llamas, alpacas, and various migratory birds.
Upon reaching Vizcachani, guests enjoy a cup of Coca tea to help acclimatize to the altitude. Continuing the tour, they appreciate the tocjras, lagoons, and bojedales, while also spotting migratory birds like flamingos and ibis.
The tour proceeds to the highest point of the Patapampa route, known as the Volcanoes viewpoint. From this vantage point, the volcanic chain, including Hualcahualca, Sabancalla, and Ampato, is visible. After taking in the view, the tour descends to the town of Chivay (3600 m) for lunch.

La Calera - Visitors can enjoy the therapeutic thermal waters in the town of Chivay.
Colca Canyon and Cruz del Condor
Colca Canyon - In the morning, at 5:30 am, breakfast is served at the hotel. Following breakfast, guests depart for the Cross of the Condor, where they will stay for approximately 2 hours. This location offers a breathtaking view of the Colca Canyon’s depth and the opportunity to observe the Condor’s flight up close.
On the return to Arequipa, travelers will see archaeological remains, pre-Inca agricultural terraces, and other panoramic views of the Colca Canyon. The journey passes through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, Achoma, and Yanque, where a stop is made to admire the typical churches, artisan center, and traditional attire of the locals, among other attractions.
