Summarized but impressive paths to know the Colca - Very good way to make the most of your travel days, you start in Arequipa, go through Colca and end up in Puno, you will end up very tired but that we are passionate about, also we loved the treatment of the guide, I explain the whole history of Peru in one day, highly recommended

Nice tour - The pick-up and drop-off times may be delayed but are still acceptable. The travel time is relatively long, but the scenery is worth looking forward to.

Long long bus rides but practical - Long trip on windy roads and high altitude. The view along the way was incredible although it was cloudy. Overall it was an efficient trip to go to Puno from Arequipa without backtracking. Colca canyon national park entrance fee was ridiculously expensive for no guarantee of seeing the condors. Only do this one way transfer if you are fit and can handle altitude

Colca Puno trip recommended with Arequipa Explorer - A somewhat long trip but everything was compensated with the attention of the Travel Agency and the Guide, I highlight the professionalism of the driver who took us excellently in due time, the guide was very clear and kind with the treatment, we felt at ease In addition, the places to visit both on the way to Colca and to Puno were charming.

Condor Mirador - Condor Mirador was memorable. It was thrilling to watch these graceful birds soar. Adequate breakfast, lunch stop was a good buffet. This was a good way to travel to Puno and see the country at the same time. Our first tour guide David spoke English well, was informative and cheerful. The guide changed after lunch when we transfered to Puno and changed busses. My husband and I climbed up on the bus and saw that there was not enough room on the bus for us. The tour guide said yes there was, go sit down. The last row of the bus had room for three people. We had to squeeze four people back there. My knees then had to be smashed into the seat in front of me. This was a very uncomfortable situation for all of us. This made for a less than ideal experience. A couple of hours and two stops later, two people at the front of the bus got off and thankfully for all of us back there our guide told us we could sit up front.

Convenient connection to Puno. Could use better busses. - Long trip for less than one hour at Colca Canyon. Very small bus; no leg room. Average buffet lunch. Two other insignificant stops.

Colca Canyon and the condors were great but the trip was too long. - It was great seeing Colca Valley, Colca Canyon and the condors but departing at 3:00 am was very hard. I would have much rather skipped the breakfast and 2 other stops before the canyon and left and hour and a half later. The lunch stop was okay except that after eating at several other buffet lunches, I couldn't face another buffet. It was good to be able to go to Puno instead of going back to Arequipa but the entire trips was too long because there were way too many stops at gift stores. Also the first seats that we got on the bus was so bad that we had to beg the guide to change them. We were put on the wrong bus and only found out about it from talking to the guide. Fortunately we were able to connect with the correct bus and go to Puno.
