Great tour to secret places - Very fun day! Tui and her assistant and our daughter engaged the whole tour about animae! Maid Cafe a highlight, as well as other places we could never have found. Our guides also took photos and videos that they later sent. Lastly, the company handled a minor customer service issue promptly and accepted! Would highly recommend!

It was a great and fun tour!! - They explained Japanese culture, such as anime and games, in an easy-to-understand way. They customized the plan to suit our needs, and we had a great time.

Great tour! - Shingo was great! Our group had lots of diverse interest and Shingo handled it well. He took us to places that had by far the best prices that we would have never found on our own. My 13 year old son was very happy! I'm sure the highlight of his Tokyo trip.

A Great Introduction to Akihabara's Subculture Attractions - I found that a small group tour is a great way to get your bearings and learn a bit about each city during my stay in Japan. Thank you Shingo Travel for providing this Akihabara subculture tour. I had an entertaining afternoon with bilingual tour guide Shingo. We had great conversation about the sites he took me to see. I was able to relive my video console gaming youth, play some classic arcade machines, and locate unique anime and manga collectibles. Whenever I had a question about what I was seeing or looking for, Shingo provided immediate assistance. The highlight that ended the tour was the innocent and highly entertaining stop at a maid cafe. Shingo chose a cafe that provided a full stage performance. Something I always wanted to experience. Thanks again Shingo for an educational and fun tour. When I return to Japan, I will definitely try one of Shingo Travel's other tour offerings. Highly recommended!

Just play, was basically... - Just okay, was basically a guided shopping experience. The guide did do a good job of hearing what our kids liked and helped us focus time on 2-3 stores with these things, but we basically stayed in a 2-block area. Our guide was super nice and interacted well with the kids, but had no knowledge of anime history, gaming or the evolution of the place. Would not recommend Maid Cafe, expensive food, not included in experience fee and very slow. Lots of upselling within the experience and you are stuck for 2-hours of the tour in this.
