Imperial Palace historic guide tour - I had an awesome time on this tour! Our Japanese guide shared so many cool stories and the deep history behind the Imperial Palace. We also got to explore a route that only a local would know, which made the experience even better. If you’re even a little interested in the Imperial Palace, this tour is totally worth it!

Imperial Palace grounds 90 minute private tour - Our guide was a 38 year old male. It was his 6th time doing to history tour of the Imperial Palace grounds. I got the impression that he really enjoys doing the bicycle tours and bar tours and loves the video game tours. If he continues the Imperial Palace tours he really needs to learn more history! He was very nice and we enjoyed talking to him about Japanese culture and his thoughts about current life in Japan. His English was very good!

Could have been better - Our tour guide was using google to answer our questions. Poor thing didn’t know the history of the palace. Although she was sweet and tried to be accommodating, we had hoped to learn more of the history. Additionally, we only saw some of the palace grounds. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Nice kid, not worthy of a tour! - First guide was a no show, second (an hour later) was a really nice kid…but barely a guide. Was handy to have a photographer though. And then he was suffering from hay fever and we called it at that!
