Mt. Fuji 5th Station is situated halfway up Mount Fuji at an altitude of 2,305 meters. As Japan’s tallest mountain, the views from both near and far are distinct. Observing the summit from afar, one can truly appreciate the mountain’s majestic beauty.
Arakurayama Sengen Park has become a new internet sensation and is recognized as one of the “21 places photographers worldwide must visit in their lifetime.” It offers a spectacular panoramic view of Mount Fuji, attracting photographers and tourists globally to witness this sight!
- Oshino Hakkai - Discover the delightful springs of Oshino Hakkai, often referred to as “Jiuzhaigou” at the base of Mount Fuji (approximately one hour).
Oshino Hakkai consists of eight pristine springs formed by the snowmelt from Mount Fuji filtering through the earth. Renowned for its scenic natural beauty, the crystal-clear waters and the stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji draw photographers from afar to capture its splendor. Oshino Hakkai is a nationally recognized natural monument.
- Gotemba Premium Outlets - Choose between an outlet shopping spree or a hot spring bathing experience.
a. Visit Gotemba Outlets (around 2 hours) without stopping at the hot springs. You can either disembark and explore the outlet or remain on the bus to proceed to the next attraction for a hot spring bath.
b. Experience Nichigetsu Onsen Hot Spring (approximately 2 hours), which does not conclude at the outlet.
To access the hot spring, exit the parking area and use the elevator, as vehicles are not permitted on the hill. For those opting for a hot spring bath, a pick-up service is available to transport you to the newly opened hot spring “Kinohana no Yu,” launched at the end of 2019. The hot spring’s name is inspired by the goddess “Kinohana Saki-Hime,” who is venerated at Mt. Fuji and the Fuji Asama Taisha Shrine. The hot spring offers a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji, and its high-quality waters from a private source provide an open-air bath with a view of Mount Fuji.
