Great coffee adventure - I'd really recommend this tour. We really enjoyed our experience, and Tomoyo-san worked hard to ensure this - with good communication both before, and during, the experience. We explored places we'd never have discovered alone and learned lots along the way. It was an enjoyable morning doing an unusual activity in Tokyo - thanks a lot to Tomoyo!

Great tour with Tomoyo! - We had a fantastic time with our guide Tomoyo! Even as someone who didn't know much about coffee going in, the tour was very well crafted to provide an enjoyable and personal experience. We got to walk around various places and learn a about coffee history and try some great and unique brews in the area. Tomoyo was also such a pleasure to be around; very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about coffee and our experience. Would highly recommend! Wear comfortable shoes, and consider sharing a coffee with a friend or partner if you want to try all the different places without overdoing the caffeine!

wonderful coffee and cultural exchange experience - This was a really special experience and I highly recommend if you love coffee and exploring new neighborhoods. Tomoyo is such a sweetheart and truly passionate about coffee culture and sharing history and stories. Not only did we try a few different cafes, we also stopped by a number of shops and eateries. Tomoyo also took many great photos of us during the event and provided great recommendations for more coffee, food, and shopping beyond the tour. She even has a best coffeeshops of the world list to share! It was also so lovely to chat with the other participants. Go book!

Coffee and Culture, Highly Recommend! - I've originally booked the tour in January 2026 immediately after the New Year where a good chunk of the local businesses were closed on holiday, including most of the coffee stops in the original itinerary with my limited schedule. Regardless, Tomoyo-san helped make the best out of the experience with multiple backup plan locations and different coffee shops to still experience the Japanese specialty coffee experience that I wanted to see. I always feel that with every tour that I do, what makes a great experience is not just the actual tour participation itself, but also the guide as well as they help engage and enrich in learning not just the tour itself, but also the culture that makes it unique. Tomoyo-san meets the great guide criteria I believe as she is very kind, friendly, and helpful in all aspects of the tour. This tour I believe is great for all levels of coffee enthusiasts, whether trying specialty coffee for the first time, or as a coffee aficionado being able to talk taste and processes with the roasters/baristas. I would highly recommend whenever you get the chance!

Why don't you participate? What the hell are you talking about? - This was my first time to join with friends from Australia. ⁡ I have known the organizers for about 15 years now. ⁡ ⁡ My friend really wanted to drink Japanese coffee, so I joined his coffee tour. It was our first reunion in about a year, so after the tour was over, we ate and kept each other updated. ⁡⁡ ⁡ My friends who participated were very satisfied and bought a lot of coffee beans from that store. ⁡ ⁡ Since we are friends, we were curious to see what kind of tour it was. ⁡ We met up in the rain and they introduced us to several coffee shops and various shops on the tour. ⁡ ⁡ At first, I wonder if it's over after going around the coffee shops. I thought it was amazing, but it was very detailed, from the various Machida streets to the atmosphere of Akihabara, the history of the area and the culture around it. ⁡ ⁡ She was very bright and always had a lovely laugh, making everyone laugh and even slightly shy people talk to her with care. ⁡ ⁡ At that time, I was studying very hard and touring with the understanding and approval of the local people. ⁡ ⁡ In the middle of the tour, I also found it resilient to see a PDF file explaining in detail where I am walking, what shops I am in, and what is happening. ⁡ ⁡ If I want to participate! I wonder if it's OK for Japanese people? I can speak English, but I can't speak Japanese~⁡ ⁡ even people can participate with confidence. ⁡ ⁡ Her cheerful and enthusiastic personality is fine. ⁡ ⁡ If you are even a little unsure or not sure if you want to join, I would definitely recommend you to join. ⁡ ⁡ There are many more things I want to write, but I highly recommend everyone.

Truly Immersive Experience!! - A truly delightful experience by a genuine expert. We got a 4 hour tour and history of Tokyo's coffee culture, and saw some coffee shops that were truly unique, interesting, and well off the beaten path. If you even have a passing interest in coffee, or would just like to understand more about the history of Tokyo, this is a once in a lifetime experience!

Your cup of coffee as you get to know city of tokyo - One of my best one-to-one tour ever. Tomoyo really knows her coffee. In addition as I was new in Tokyo, I had a wonderful introduction of the city besides knowing more about the coffee culture in the city.

Lovely coffee and history walk - I had a great time. Tomoyo was knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful. She even had slides! All the coffee was good, and there was a good range of classic coffee shops and new specialty cafés. Every place we visited had nice ambience, too, and keeping the group small helped us connect and chat more. I also really appreciated the worldwide list of cafés and roasteries to visit!
