Tokyo highlights - We did a six hour private tour of Tokyo - Nobu was our guide, and Ono was our driver. We had a great time and had such a great tour! They were on time, had great communication, and a very comfortable, clean car. Nobu was very knowledgeable and informative about Tokyo and its history. Ono was always there to pick us up after our sightseeing. We went to the Senso-ji Temple, Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street, Ueno Park, Tokyo Bay, and several shrines. Nobu, took us to a great place for lunch. Such a big city, but we got a great sample with our short time here. Who knew there was a “Statue of Liberty” in Tokyo?!

Fantastic guide - Nori was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. She catered the tour to our interests and her visual aids provided us with historical events and people. She went beyond our expectations escorting us to the correct train car for boarding back to our hotel. We highly recommend Nori.

Koba was flexible, knowledgeable, and made our Tokyo tour memorable despite closures—highly recommended guide. - Koba was an outstanding tour guide and made our day in Tokyo both memorable and enjoyable. First stop was at the Imperial Palace East Garden but it was unexpectedly closed due to the Emperor’s birthday. We got to enjoy the Empire Palace hotel lobby for 45 minutes while we waited for the hired driver to come back and pick us up. Because it was a national holiday and considered lucky we got to see a bunch of wedding parties and brides taking photos at the hotel. We continued on to Asakusa, where we enjoyed beautiful views of Tokyo Skytree and explored Senso-ji Temple. Koba shared meaningful history and cultural insights that brought each location to life and helped us appreciate the traditions behind what we were seeing. We also visited Meiji Jingu Shrine, where his explanations of Shinto customs and etiquette added depth to the peaceful surroundings, and finished at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, a perfect place to relax and take in Tokyo’s natural beauty. Kona’s nursing background came in handy as he recognized that my mother in law was getting tired and needed a wheel chair. He even volunteered to guide her down the hills since I just wanted to see how fast she could go. Koba was knowledgeable, flexible, and personable throughout the tour. He communicated clearly, kept a comfortable pace, and made sure everyone had time for photos and questions. I highly recommend Koba to anyone looking for a thoughtful and professional guide in Tokyo. When you book this tour, the company will give you an option to hire a driver, do it! It made getting from place to place much easier than taking public transportation. It will double the cost, but highly worth it.

Incredible tour and guide! - We had the absolute best time on our tour with Sam! I would highly recommend hiring her as your tour guide! My husband and I saw and learned so much! We did the private tour with Sam and a driver, I would highly recommend doing this! They drove us right to the area, we walked around, and he drove right up to us to pick us up. We got to experience so many things that day because of this. Sam was incredibly nice and knowledgeable!
