Pick-up is available from hotels and popular landmarks in Chongqing’s central districts: Jiefangbei, Hongyadong, Lianglukou, Guanyinqiao, Grand Theatre, Nanbin Road, and Nanping. During public holidays and peak seasons, pick-up times may be slightly earlier.
- Wujiang River - Traveling south from Chongqing, the route follows the 319 National Road, winding alongside the Wujiang River through a stunning limestone gorge known locally as the Wujiang Gallery. Sheer cliffs rise from both banks, with the river running emerald green below. This is a scenic road corridor rather than a ticketed park, and the driver will stop at panoramic viewpoints for photos. For the best views, sit on the river side of the vehicle. No entrance fee is required.
- Chongqing Fairy Mountain - The vehicle drives directly into Fairy Mountain, bypassing the standard visitor-centre shuttle queues, and drops you on the highland plateau at 1,900 meters elevation. Known as the “Oriental Swiss Alps,” the park features broad alpine meadows, pine forests, and wildflower pastures, offering a noticeably cooler climate than central Chongqing.
It is one of the most photographed locations in southwest China, especially for landscape photography enthusiasts. Optional horseback riding across the grasslands is available on-site and can be arranged directly (self-pay).
Lunch is served in nearby Xiannu Town, where numerous local restaurants offer Chongqing specialties — order and pay independently.
- Three Natural Bridges - The highlight of the day and one of China’s most remarkable natural sites. Three karst sky-bridges span the same hidden gorge in sequence: Tianlong Bridge, Qinglong Bridge, and Heilong Bridge, each a freestanding natural arch formed over 12 million years as underground rivers dissolved the limestone above. Together, they form Asia’s largest natural bridge cluster, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and globally recognized as the filming location for Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014).
The vehicle drops you directly at the scenic area entrance — no visitor-centre shuttle is required on standard days. The Tiankeng (天坑) valley lift ticket is included in the tour price: take the lift down to the gorge floor (walls rise up to 350 meters above) and walk the circuit beneath all three bridges. The walk covers roughly 3 kilometers on well-maintained paths with some uneven sections. Allow the full 2.5 hours to explore at a comfortable pace.
- Jiefangbei Square - Drop-off at Jiefangbei / Hongyadong area in central Chongqing. Please note: the return journey from Wulong is longer than the outbound, and arrival time cannot be guaranteed due to variable traffic conditions — particularly on weekends and public holidays. It is strongly recommended not to book onward transportation or activities on the evening of this tour.
