Your accredited guide will meet you at the ticket booth and take you on a 45-minute guided walk through native habitats, pointing out iconic species such as kiwi, kākāriki, kea, and tuatara and sharing the stories that bring them to life. Enter the Kea enclosure to see playful parrots up close, visit the Kiwi Nocturnal House, and see kākāriki, kākā, and tuatara in their enclosures. After the guided walk, you can explore the rest of the reserve at your own pace and learn about ongoing wildlife conservation and restoration efforts.
