The Mouth of Truth is an ancient Roman marble mask located in Rome, positioned against the left wall of the portico of the Santa Maria in Cosmedin church, at the Piazza della Bocca della Verità, the site of the historic Forum Boarium (the old cattle market). According to a long-standing medieval legend, it will bite off the hand of any liar who places their hand in its mouth, or anyone who tells a lie while their hand is inside. Are you brave enough to test your honesty?

- Piazza Venezia / Ancient City - Piazza Venezia is a central junction in Rome, where several major roads meet, including the Via dei Fori Imperiali and the Via del Corso. It is named after the Palazzo Venezia, built by the Venetian Cardinal, Pietro Barbo (later Pope Paul II) next to the church of Saint Mark, the patron saint of Venice. The Palazzo Venezia once served as the embassy of the Republic of Venice in Rome.
- Via dei Fori Imperiali - The Via dei Fori Imperiali is a road in the center of Rome, running directly from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. It passes over parts of the Forum of Trajan, Forum of Augustus, and Forum of Nerva, with sections visible on both sides of the road. Since the 1990s, extensive archaeological excavations have been conducted on both sides of the road, as many significant Imperial Roman artifacts remain buried beneath it.
- Trevi Fountain - The Trevi Fountain is an 18th-century fountain in the Trevi district of Rome, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini in 1762, along with several others. - Piazza del Popolo - Piazza del Popolo is a large urban square in Rome. The name in modern Italian means “People’s Square,” but historically it comes from the poplars (populus in Latin, pioppo in Italian) after which the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, located in the northeast corner of the piazza, is named.
- Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant’Angelo - The Mausoleum of Hadrian, also known as Castel Sant’Angelo, is a towering rotunda in Parco Adriano. It was originally commissioned by the Roman Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family. Later, the popes used the building as a fortress and castle, and it is now a museum. The structure was once the tallest building in Rome.
