Following a helicopter journey over Abraham Lake, past Elliot Peak, and above BATUS Canyon, the helicopter will drop the group off on a ridge of Ernest Ross Peak. After taking in the panoramic views, the group will begin the descent through alpine meadows until reaching the creek that leads to the canyon.
The adventure is underway! With the assistance of experienced and reliable guides, the group will navigate the descent, passing through alpine vegetation, rappelling down small waterfalls, and sliding down natural water slides. From there, the group will discover the entrance to the canyon. The creek vanishes into a narrowing passage with 30-meter walls that appear to divide the mountain. Inside the slot, the group will rappel down a series of three tall waterfalls, all within a dark, narrow rock corridor where the sky is barely visible, resembling a cave. The atmosphere is set! The first half of the day concludes with a renowned 45-meter waterfall, equivalent to a 16-story building!
