Outstanding Family Adventures with Absolute Adventures in Tulum – Highly Recommended! - We recently visited Tulum with our two teenage daughters and booked two half-day excursions with Absolute Adventures—and both were absolutely fantastic! We had the pleasure of having the same guide, Josh, for both trips, and he was truly exceptional.
First, we did the half-day cenotes tour. Josh led us to two stunning cenotes: one inside a dramatic cave filled with incredible stalactites (perfect for that wow-factor swim), and another magical open cenote surrounded by beautiful lily pads. He shared fascinating insights into the geology and formation of cenotes while we swam, making the experience both fun and educational.
The second excursion took us to the ancient Mayan ruins at Coba. Biking through the lush jungle paths to the site was a highlight—Josh kept our teens fully engaged the whole time with lively storytelling about Mayan history, pointing out wildlife, and answering every question. The girls were genuinely interested and excited, which is no small feat!
The transportation was spotless (clean van with plenty of room), and there was a well-stocked cooler full of cold drinks and water—such a thoughtful touch after all the activity.
Josh went above and beyond to make both days memorable, safe, and enjoyable for the whole family. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine care really set these tours apart.
We wholeheartedly recommend Absolute Adventures for anyone visiting the Tulum area—whether you’re traveling with teens, kids, or just want an authentic, well-guided experience. Five stars aren’t enough! Thank you, Josh and the Absolute Adventures team!

Coba, Cenote, and Lunch Tour - Our driver and guide Cristina were amazing! We enjoyed our tour so much! The price we paid included everything, drinks, admission to Coba and the Cenotes , even our bikes at Coba. Our tour also included an authentic Mexican lunch. We paid for our drinks at lunch. My children, both 15 loved everything! This was a great private tour and worth the price!

Coba Ruins/Cenote/ Lunch - This was an amazing excursion! It met all our expectations and Juan and Omar were extremely helpful, insightful and knowledgeable.
We went to Coba Ruins in the morning before the crowds and then to a cenote for a nice cool off. Then off to an authentic Mayan lunch.
Picked up on time from our resort in Tulum and dropped off in front as well. You must book this tour!

Full day tour of Tulum, Coba and Cenote swim - Great service from Absolute Tours. Our plans changed at the last minute due to weather and Absolute were flexible, prompt and efficient in their responses. Our full day tour with Arturo was educational, entertaining, fun and safe; a good value for the money. Highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible excursion! - Our tour guide Alex was so incredibly knowledgeable and made our experience amazing! Learning about Mayan civilization was fascinating the cenote experience was the highlight of our trip! The lunch was the best food we had during our e tire vacation! Our driver Rodrigo was great and got us safely to all of our destinations!
