Wonderful Tour of Blarney Castle, Kinsale, and Cobh! - What an incredible tour! Derek is a really great guide. Friendly, kind, and super knowledgeable of the area and history of Ireland. Like myself, he's also a bit of a photography enthusiast and went out of his way to take us to some incredible photo spots. If you're looking for a private tour of the area around Cork look no further! I would definitely recommend Derek!

Best Tour Experience Ever! - I couldn’t begin to express the amount of gratitude and satisfaction with our tour today with Derek. He went above and beyond in every way possible to honor my dad on Father’s Day and tailored the trip to what we wanted plus many many additions. Trust him and you will get an amazing experience. What a phenomenal guide. Takes real pride and care into planning and executing the day. So so grateful. You won’t be disappointed if you book this tour. Don't think about it, Just book it! - Derek was a ray of sunshine from the start! We were a group of 6 from 3 different generations, and he made sure we went at a pace that was suitable for everyone. It's obvious the pride he takes in his work and is very knowledgeable with a wealth of history to share. We were on a cruise and tired of the cramped tour busses. Luckily had a last minute cancelation and I was able to book him. If you want to experience Cobh from someone who has passion for everything, book NOW. I originally tried to book him 3 months ago and he was fully booked, so don't wait, JUST BOOK IT!! In addition, he helped arrange a tour for us at our next cruise port near Dublin.

Best tour of my trip! - Derek was the best tour guide. He got me to the Blarney Stone first which made me the first person to kiss it today! He took me around Cork. And, as a person with FD roots, he took me to the Garden of Remembrance outside Kinsale. I got to see Kinsale. He took me around Cobh as well! It was a great day! Best day of my cruise.

Day excursion to Cobh and Kinsale - A rainy day turned sunny when we met Derek, our tour director! What a friendly and happy guy. We booked the Blarney Castle tour and Kinsale. Because of the heavy rain we changed our itinerary to include Cobh, Emigration museum, St Colmans Cathedral, and the departure area of the Titanic. We then went to Blarney Woolen Mills and on to Kinsale for a lovely lunch. We walked around Kinsale and met so many locals. You couldn’t ask for a better day. We have a new friend in Cork Ireland and we couldn’t as for a better tour guide than Derek O’Keeffe.

Spectacular trip with Derek the Great! - Derek was prompt in pickup and kept us on schedule the entire day. However, we never felt rushed and were able to explore everything as promised plus a few extra little gems. Derek is thorough in his knowledge of Ireland and history. There wasn’t a question that he didn’t k ow the answer to…he is an Ireland history buff. He was also personable, easy to talk to and quite a hoot…kept us laughing throughout the trip. We definitely recommend this tour and his expert tour guide service!

What A Wonderful Day - We had an awesome experience on our private tour with Derek. Worth every penny. Derek did a fantastic job showing us all the sites and picking out a special place for us to have lunch. We highly recommend him if you're in the area and want to get the most out of a "day tour". Being a long time resident of Cork, Derek was very knowledgeable of the area, its history & sites. The views were spectacular!

Awesome tour of Cork Ireland area - Derrick was a very professional, informative, and pleasant guide today. Not only did we visit wonderful sights, but we also had the privilege of meeting wonderful people such as Derrick and other folks along the way. This part of Ireland is very beautiful and Derrick made it possible to see it and it’s people. His choice of a lunch location was some of the best food we have ever had.
