Entertaining Golf Cart Afternoon on Grand Turk - We rented a golf cart from Paradise Carts at the GT Cruise Port in May. It was easy, walk across the (HOT) parking lot, and out the gate. Tell the guys hanging around trying to sell stuff you've got a reservation for a golf cart, they'll ask "With who". Tell them which company and 8 guys point across the street. It ain't rocket science. There's a ton of carts parked on the side of the road, under a number of vendors. A couple of minutes to fill out liability forms, and they give you a map and you're on your way. Some carts are faster, bigger, cooler than others. Ours was a standard cart and quicker than most. Gave us lots of opportunities to get on the wrong side of the road faster than others. (You will screw that up at your first intersection, 3 point turn, or just general re-entry onto the main road from a side path.) There's really not a lot to see on GT, and after a couple of hours we were done. Drove up the main road to the lighthouse. Didn't buy the overpriced drinks or food. My wife failed miserably at feeding a donkey a carrot and I had to go rescue her. If you're going to bother to spend the $150 to do this, you should probably pick a beach or hotel you want to go hang out at, or you'll probably just head back early. My supplier told me to fill the gas tank. (I don't remember that in the advertisement.). I asked the guy how full it was to start, and he said 3/4... I just laughed at that one. I checked and it was more like 1/4. I put $10, (2 gallons) in it and had probably only used less than 1, so nobody made a fuss when I turned it in. Just something to be aware of. Regardless, clean and functional cart that was as close the the cruise terminal as they could possibly be and they were pleasant and easy to deal with.

Great experience - Short walk to the location and easy to find. Such a great way to see the island. Would recommend this company to others looking for a place to guarantee gas in the tank to last the entire day. We had no worries and could enjoy our time. The kids loved the experience.

Great service - Stayed on the island for a week. James was really easy to work with and dropped off a cart at our rental house within 30 mins or the reservation.

Easy way to self tour the island - Kind of a fun way to tour the island. Didnt experience any issues . The map they give you leaves you making many misturns, but you really can’t get lost.

Map and directions need to be refined - This was easy to find outside the port. Man giving us the cart was nice. The map needs some work. We were lost about half the time. When we returned we had to pay for the gas around $12. It came as a surprise. Would have been nice to have a reminder when we left to fill up or pay upon return. Both of those items influenced this review.

Paradise Golf Cart Rental Grand Turk - You walk just outside the port gates to get to the golf carts. The check-out process was fairly easy. The only negative item I have is that our golf cart was pretty slow. We were constantly being passed up by other golf carts going faster and I had the pedal to the floor. These golf carts run on gas.

We rented three golf... - We rented three golf carts. One was super slow, one was fast but had transmission trouble, and the last one had very little gas in it. They were the least expensive rentals so I guess we got what we paid for. It was fun to see Grand Turks that way.

Golf cart fun but not perfect by any means - The golf cart ran but was rough and a little rundown. The seat got very hot with the motor running underneath us within 15 minutes of driving. You might consider using a towel between you and the seat. The first time we stopped off, we couldn’t get it to start. We finally got it to start when we adjusted the shifter. This happened multiple times-nearly every time we stopped. Price is not the most fair within the carts offered around the area but we had fun driving around so getting a cart is definitely worth it. We did notice our cart ran slower than a lot of the others on the road. They did make sure we had a map and their phone number before we left. We had to fill up a little bc tank was not full of gas at all and we didn’t want to be stranded. We paid the $10 for gas at the end rather than fill it up for $7 per gallon.
