Amazing Deep Sea Fishing - Absolutely amazing. The Evil Panda fishing boat and crew were great and I highly recommend this activity. We caught 8 black tuna, saw whales, dolphins, turtles, jumping fish. The crew cleaned our fish and served us ceviche on the boat and had the rest ready for us to take back to our resort. If I am back in that area, I will book this again!

Great crew! Fun trip. Only one fish but saw several whales. - We only caught one fish but saw several whales and had a wonderful time. The two man crew was fun and very hospitable. Only concern was coordinating the meeting spot so ask early for confirmation.

Best day of our - Felipe and Jose were exceptional hosts in board of the evil panda boat. They were incredibly accommodating, hospitable, and fantastic. We had a party of 5 people and it was literally the best day of our lives. We went for fishing but instead got greeted by probably 10 different whales on our journey! We also saw a baby whale, a sea turtle, and several dolphins! I highly recommend this tour!

Great experience - These guys were great!!! They made it fun and easy!! They also had a great snack for us of fresh fruit and salsa prepared a few hours in. It was fabulous!

Best fishing experience EVER - We had the most AMAZING fishing experience with Juan Carlos & Filipe!! We caught Mahi-mahi, tuna, and a massive Sailfish! The fishing incredible but in addition to that, the hospitality was 5 stars all on its own. They served some of the fresh catch as ceviche, fresh fruits, chips & salsa and many different types of beverages (the ceviche was honestly the BEST thing I ate during our entire two week trip.) Highly recommend - The crew was amazing and we enjoyed our time with Evil Panda. The boat was very comfortable and the cookies, cocktails, beer, patacones and salsa, and fruit platter were tasty! The fishing wasn’t popping, but they worked hard to get us all to catch some fish and took us to multiple areas to find where the fish were biting. We ended up getting tuna, snapper, trigger fish, and grouper and ate well that night! They also made sure to point out the wildlife and we got to see dolphins, mating sea turtles, flying fish, and pelicans. They were great with my kids, answering their questions and helping them to have a great time. It was a highlight of the trip for sure and we’d go back to them again if we are in the area.

Fabulous half day on the Evil Panda! - Our family of 7, age 20-70, had the best day on the Evil Panda! The crew picked us up right on the beach closest to our accommodations, asked what we hoped for the day, and delivered on all our requests! Juan Carlos, Nicholas, and Carlos made us feel like family! After a 3 hour fishing trip, they brought us in to snorkel while they prepared a tasty lunch. We highly recommend this excursion! Thank you, Evil Panda for such a memorable experience.

Great crew and tour! - A fun day out on the water with Nikolas and Juan Carlos aboard the Evil Panda! They were so kind and fun, working hard to find us marine life and fish. We didn’t get many bites, but when we did, it was exciting and we reeeled them in. We caught a Spanish Mackerel, a small black tuna and a beautiful Mahi Mahi. Nikolas filleted the Mackerel and made a delicious ceviche dish for our lunch. Music, fishing, sunny skies, we were never without a drink in hand and a great crew made for the perfect last day of our trip. Beware - Nikolas has a heavy pour and those drinks may sneak up on you 😜 We had part of the Mahi grilled by a beach side restaurant after we docked and sent the rest of the filets home with the guys to share with their families. We definitely recommend this trip!

Don’t use this company if you want to fish! - If you want to go fishing in Costs Rica don’t use this company. I want to give zero stars for this company. My family of six booked this fishing excursion 6 months before our trip to Costa Rica. They contacted me once 6 months ago when I booked it. I tried to reach out on this app and their office number to confirm one week prior to our trip and again the day before. We had no response. We waiting at the meeting point for 2 hours and no one showed up. I called their office 4 times that morning and no response. My kids had waited 6 months to go fishing in Costa Rica and they were in tears when the boat didn’t show. It was the last day of our trip so there was no time to book with another company. I understand things come up but the company could have let us know a week ago that the trip wasn’t going to happen so we could book another excursion. Please don’t use this company. There are a lot of other fishing companies in the area with great reviews.

Unprofessional Behavior doesn’t deserve to go unpunished - I booked this excursion on June 23rd. I reached out on July 11th to confirm the excursion and confirm our pickup or meeting point and the tour guide immediately started trying to change our plans. Apparently someone “Double Booked” and even though I booked first and I was on his calendar he immediately went to accommodating his new customer “Vanessa” and asked if we wanted to do a evening excursion instead. I insisted on our original plans for my group since it would be our last day in town. Fast forward to July 14th, the company won’t answer txt or calls via WhatsApp and wouldn’t answer calls from Viator either. I WARN YOU, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CHARTER. I think he chose his other customers because they may have paid cash in his pocket instead of using an agency, he tried to encourage me to cancel via Viator and pay in cash. I sent all the screenshots and correspondence to Viator. This company should be banned from listing on Viator or any TripAdvisor owned website. They’ll also tell you they can’t guarantee a catch, which I understand, but when you have a group paying you for an experience you should be more optimistic. Luckily as we walked back to our Airbnb, we ran into a guy offering excursions and he found us a captain and fishing charter immediately. We caught 3 yellow fin tuna, they filleted them, and even came to our airbnb and cooked us dinner. Best part of the trip! They also took us to multiple other beaches and we saw and fed monkeys, looked for lobsters, and enjoyed the beaches… there are better tours out there on the beach.
