We were directed to be a half hour early at the boat ramp prior to our 10 am backhaul taxi. We were on time but the guides didn’t show up until about 5 minutes before 10. Then we had to wait longer for them to get boat in the water and park truck. Also took even longer for them to figure out plans prior to loading kayaks and gear. So we left the dock over 30 minutes late. This was made worse by the threat of strong winds picking up in the afternoon. So to make a long story short, we were very late to start the kayak trip and then the winds picked up sooner than expected and we needed to be picked up less than halfway through. Very disappointing and I feel we should be refunded.
