Fantastic Wine Tour - It was a great experience. Sonia was a fantastic, knowledgeable tour guide who spoke excellent English. We went to ChateauChateau Bourrian. The wine tasting and food were Saint-Maur and exceptional in both. The details of the in-depth winemaking process at the former were so interesting to see. Sonia's explanation of how to taste wine correctly was also fascinating. I would thoroughly recommend this tour and indeed plan to book the full-day one in the future.

Sonia went above and beyond! An experience out of a storybook! - BOOK THIS TOUR! Wow! What an incredible experience! Sonia went above and beyond to make this such a memorable outing for our families. First, she was warm and friendly in her initial correspondence, which made us feel totally at ease (we have had other tours where the guide doesn’t reach out at all in advance). Second, she was able to pick us up directly at our Villa, exactly on time. Such a treat to be picked up at your doorstep. Sonia lent so much expertise of the wineries we visited. It is clear she has a passion for wine and that was quite evident on our tour. She took us to two places, both of which were incredible. The first location, Château Barbeyrolles, was a French chateau straight out of a storybook. Sonia even arranged to have some delicate cheeses provided, which we learned was not always customary. We toured the castle, inside and out and we really felt special tasting wines in the sun-soaked courtyard, with lemon groves and jasmine around us. The second winery, chateau de chausse, was also very lovely and quite a different atmosphere than the previous winery. All of the wines were SUPERB and we learned so much about the local region and the winemaking process. We learned, surprisingly, that the wine tourism industry is still in its infancy in southern France. It’s still a quiet industry that hasn’t yet exploded with tourism. Sonia is one of the first local pioneers to offer a more American-style comprehensive wine tasting. She really knows her stuff, but never came across as pretentious. At the conclusion of our tour, Sonia made reservation for our group at Le Vista, a fabulous mountaintop restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. She even helped coordinate a taxi back to our villa at the end of our lunch. I wish I could give Sonia 10 stars, because she really made this tour a highlight of our month-long stay in France. Last minute cancellation - We were very excited for this tour. Pickup was at 10am - at 9:45am the person texted us and cancelled. Very unprofessional. The best thing was that the reimbursement came fast.
