A super experience, recommended. - We had a great day out, learning all the skills that are listed in the advertising. Yes we found gold and it was an amazing experience. Spending time in a beautiful part of NZ. Included friendly native birds - Weka and Fantails. With native fish in the creek. Steve is enthusiastic, shares his knowledge freely and is natural instructor.

Great day! - We had a great day with Steve (and his gold detector Gabrielle). He showed several gold hunting techniques, took us to 'hidden' places in the goldfields and was very patient and friendly.

Amazing day on the gold hunt - We spent a wonderful day gold fossicking and had so much fun! Steve was a great teacher and thanks to him, we indeed found so much gold, which we were allowed to keep. We learned a lot about various techniques like panning, sluicing, and metal detecting. HIGHLY recommend it for anyone looking for a fun and informative adventure!

So much fun, I did it again a month later! - This was such a good experience. We spent the day learning so much, found gold, had a blast, and didn't want the day to end. Steve is a top bloke. Lovely walk through native bush with beautiful views to top things off. I told a friend about this trip, and a few weeks later we booked Steve and did the trip again. My friend was blown away by the day.

Gold fossicking newbies - Had an absolutely amazing day out with Steve,Very informative guide/teacher especially for people like myself and partner who knew absolutely nothing about gold fossicking.If you have the itch to give gold fossicking a go then Steve is your go to.We even managed to find some gold and couple wee garnet.Thanks again Steve.

A gold fun day - Had a great day with Steve fossicking for gold on the beach of a nearby river. We learned a lot about where and how to target gold and we're very happy with our finds. Wonderful gold experience - We spent a wonderful day learning gold prospection with Steve. This guy have a huge kindness and he is so clear to explain you the way of prospecting and Golden Bay history. He totally transfers you his passion for gold hunting ! Great adventure hunting gold - We spent 2 days with Steve learning so many different aspects of gold hunting. We had the best adventure trying our hand at panning, sluicing, detecting, scouring crevices etc. what a great way to spend the weekend! The scenery is breathtaking and we managed to find gold!!
