Colmar is just magical! - Colmar is just magical! Especially at Christmas time, the place feels like a fairy tale. Lights everywhere, a warm, cosy atmosphere and lots of charm. Perfect for nice moments with the family. The Christmas market with the Ferris wheel makes for bright eyes, and the many small, cosy restaurants spoil you with incredibly delicious food. A place that touches the heart and is remembered. ✨🎄

I don't have to go there again - The market was rather disappointing. The city itself was very nice and lovingly decorated but so overcrowded that you could not enjoy it. There were comparatively few market stalls and virtually no regional products. Cheap clothes from Pakistan were easy to find. There are very nice little shops but you didn't get into them because it was too crowded. There are virtually no public toilets and you practically didn't come into a restaurant because there was always a line of people standing in front of it. In Strasbourg it was much more pleasant there you could very well find places outside the market and the shops were also easy to enter. Maybe I'll come back in the summer when the Christmas madness is over because Colmar is a beautiful town.
