After admission, the ICEperience begins in the cozy “Chalet”. Here you can choose from a large selection of drinks. The first of three FREE DRINKS, regardless of whether it’s a cocktail, Kölsch beer, a warm latte macchiato or something else - they sweeten the waiting time until admission to the IceBar Cologne. Our guests will then receive jackets, gloves and hats when they are admitted and can then experience Cologne works of art, such as the cathedral as well as walls and glasses made of ice. This icy experience is unique and only available with us.

Fun, Different and Worth It - We saw some mixed reviews before booking this, but honestly, we loved it.
You get a free drink and two shots included, which already makes it feel like a fun experience from the start. The ice bar itself is small, but that almost made it better. It felt cozy and unique. Everything inside being made of ice was such a cool concept, and it was just a fun atmosphere overall.
The bartender inside the ice bar was friendly and talkative, which added to the experience. It did not feel rushed, and we were able to just enjoy the novelty of it.
After we finished in the ice room, we stayed in the regular bar area and had another drink while chatting. It turned into a relaxed, social part of our night rather than just a quick in and out attraction.
Overall, we thought it was worth it. It is not a huge venue, but it is a fun, different experience and something memorable to add to a night in Cologne.

A fun you should not miss - A great experience that was really fun to experience something different, the cocktails in advance were a poem that are included in the price, in the ice bar itself the little shots were my personal highlight from Flynn about eggnog and also delicious Kölsch drinking from the ice glass en a great experience with really a great staff what was friendly and attentive for guests who are not from Cologne there was an English speaking host all around great experience there were Barbara Jürgen Thomas and Margret

Lovely little bar but the... - Lovely little bar but the actual I e Bar was tiny compared with others visited. Drink glasses were smaller too, but the drinks were nice. The cocktails in the warm bar were amazing and worth it. Not the best one, but an experience to have had, all the same.

Lots of money for what's on offer! A total disappointment - I think the price is too high for what's on offer. You're supposed to be there half an hour before. However, one then sits at the 1. Free drink (cocktail with us) until the half hour is over, in the vestibule bar. When we started at 4 pm, we were able to put on jackets and gloves provided. We didn't use that, also looked a little too thin for -18 Gad. Then the door opened and you came to the bar. A second couple had gone to the ice bar with us. The room was very small. Disappointing few ice sculptures. Only the cathedral is still worth mentioning. There were 2 free shots to choose from in frozen little shot glasses. The other couple left shortly before us after max, 15 min. We still tried the two free shots and left totally disappointed shortly after the other pair. It was a gift, worth nothing in my opinion.

Wouldn’t recommend - Massive let down for what we expected. I have done an ice bar years ago in London but this was nothing like that. Just felt like going in a freezer of a supermarket. Had a couple of sculptures . On arrival we each received 2 tokens for beer or shots inside and one for a drink in the bar area. But the whole experience was a let down.

Not worth the money - Staff were lovely and tried their best to make it a good experience but not worth the £46 we spent for two people. It’s a tiny cabin with a couple of not particularly great sculptures in it. We only stayed about 10 minutes of our one hour slot just enough time to have the two drinks you get in the ice cabin. The third drink we had in the warm bar where you enter the place before we got taken to the ice cabin. The drinks you get in the ice are served in glasses made out of ice which is probably the coolest thing about the whole place. First time going to an ice bar and I suspect there are much better ones out there.

Once seen is enough - Very small space. If there are 20 people inside, there is hardly room to move. Expected more. The staff were very nice though.

Better not book. - The Ice Bar was closed despite valid tickets. Now I'm running after my money. Better not book. The booking was for 01.01.2026

TERRIBLE!!! - Booked through Booking.com once there, as described 30 minutes before the start, it appears to be closed. No note or anything. Booking.com not available, does not respond to emails. So pay attention with this activity!!!
