Exceptional Transfer with a Passionate Guide - We booked Lanka Safe Tours for a transfer from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya with a couple of stops of our choice along the way, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Kavishan, was outstanding - not only did he handle everything smoothly (including assisting with entrance tickets), but he also shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of Sri Lanka with such passion. To our surprise, he even suggested an additional stop before dropping us at our accommodation, which was a wonderful bonus. The vehicle was modern, clean, and very comfortable, making the journey enjoyable for the whole family. We are so grateful we chose this company and are already looking forward to another day with them next week. Highly recommended!

Good day trip to Nuwara Eliya from Kandy. - A really enjoyable experience in the comfort of a car. Got to see lots of tea plantations and waterfalls in Nuwara Eliya. Cham was a good guide and assisted to take many pics. I requested not to be taken to the gem factory and went to Damro tea plantation instead. There was no hardselling on the tour and I really appreciate it. However the roads are very bendy so if you are prone to motion sickness it's better to take some pills and medication.

amazing ride - very nice experience. originally we just booked a ride - nothing else. we had to stop on our long ride along for a short break. we stopped at a bakery of a very small town where we bought snacks, also for our driver. he was so super sweet as he then invited us to have a tea there together. later on stopped at beautiful waterfalls and tea plantation - he had no hurry and was very nice and calm. can recommend very much!

Interesting - Milan's knowledge of the area was very informative not to forget his great driving skills on the roller coaster roads. Also very friendly and happy to answer questions on Sri Lanka.

A memorable and beautiful birthday trip - Fantastic day out to see the beautiful countryside from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya.
Our driver was excellent, entertaining and knowledgeable.
The trip was from 9AM - 6PM with multiple stops on the way so it didnt feel like we were driving all the time.
First we stopped off at a pagoda —> the herbal garden for a tour and massage —> then to a tea factory for tea and cake —> lunch with a waterfall view —> nuwara eliya
Overall the trip was the right balance of activities whilst being relaxed. Highly recommend to others!

Visit to Seetha matha temple is amazing. Lush green surrounding with crystal clear river whole environment splendid - We left our resort cinnamon citadel kandy at 8in the morning in a private car. Driver Anura was so good he made our journey very comfortable and joyfull

Scam and false advertising - Beware this company. None of the photos are from them. The worst thing is for you to have the company owner, Dinesh, as your guide. He will constantly be on his phone doing other business and make excuses to skip parts of the itinerary (including Nuwera Eliya itself) but push you to things not in the itinerary that he gets money off of (like a gem store). There were several 1 star reviews (that we unfortunately only saw after our trip) previously that have now been suspiciously removed.
He does not cover a tea plantation, just a tea factory. The tea plantation he lets you take a picture outside, before the staff at the plantation say that there is no actual ticket! He tells them (in Sinhala) that we will only be taking pictures quickly and not go inside.
The first thing he states is that he needs a 5 star review from everyone in the party. And the person who left a 1 star review from the group got non stop calls and messages from different numbers (impersonating different positions) with lies and requesting it be taken down. Looks like he managed to get all the 1 star reviews taken down (probably from harassing TripAdvisor just like he does with the customers). There might be a good tour if you get one of the other guides, but if you end up with the owner it is a complete scam.
